I am a physics teacher and have been for over fifteen years now. I have a successful record of helping students reach beyond their own expectations. I love my job and besides teaching and supporting physics activities in the school, I play an active role in supporting extra-curricular activities in the house system.
I also work as an online physics tutor for KS3, GCSE and A level and my website is:
physics-tutor.co.uk
I have also been published by Hodder and Teachitscience Part of the AQA group and have worked in a range of contexts in the UK across both the maintained and independent sectors. I have also provided support to the British Council as an international educational consultant. I also work as an online physics tutor during my spare time and can be found at www.physics-tutor.co.uk
The goal of the book is to provide a scaffolded learning approach to each topic. The questions starts with simple gap-fill or multiple choice question and then move towards more open-ended questions that students find particularly challenging. The strength of this series of books over others is that there are much more practice questions available with worked-solutions so students and teachers can monitor progression. 6 mark questions, in particular, are often missing in other 'workbooks'. The book also contains a lot of exam and study tips and web-based on-line resources.
I am committed to other areas of the curriculum and speak Spanish fluently, German (fairly fluently and Portuguese ( Not at all fluently!) and hope to have the opportunity to write in a context that explores these interests as well.
