Product Description

The premiere edition of Saints Row: The Third – The Full Package includes the award-winning, critically-acclaimed, almost universally lauded Saints Row: The Third; the three downloadable mission packs Genkibowl VII, Gangstas In Space, and The Trouble With Clones; and more than 30 bonus DLC items from such hits as the Shark Attack pack, Witches & Wieners pack, Special Operations pack, and the Genki Girl Vehicle pack. With every weapon, every vehicle, and every outfit ever created for Saints Row: The Third, players will go over the top, off the reservation, and to places where no decent game should go.

Years after taking Stilwater for their own, the Third Street Saints have evolved from street gang to household brand name, with Saints sneakers, Saints energy drinks and Johnny Gat bobble head dolls all available at a store near you. The Saints are kings of Stilwater, but their celebrity status has not gone unnoticed. The Syndicate, a legendary criminal fraternity with pawns in play all over the globe, has turned its eye on the Saints and demands tribute. Refusing to kneel to the Syndicate, you take the fight to Steelport, a once-proud metropolis reduced to a struggling city of sin under Syndicate control. Take a tank skydiving, call in a satellite-targeted airstrike on a Mexican wrestling gang, and defend yourself against a highly-trained military force using only a sex toy in the most outlandish gameplay scenarios ever seen, igniting a city-wide war that will set Steelport on fire. Strap it on.

If you haven't played this game before or haven't played the downloads Via XBOX live or PSN, then THIS IS the version that you need. It has every DLC that is available from The Trouble With Clones, Gangsters in Space and Genkibowl 7. But it also has all the costume packs and novelty weapons like the Shark Attack gun. However there are two DLC that were not available on the Disc. The first is Bloodsuckers pack and the second is the Unstoppable pack. The full Package comes on two discs. The DLC's come on the first disc which when put in your console, you download onto your hard drive and the main Saint's Row the 3rd game comes on the second disc.

This game is awesome, much more fun and enjoyable than GTA. Unlike GTA you can customise your character as yourself and play the entire game as your own CGI counterpart. The violence is much more sadistic than the others yet very fun to partake in. I mean where else can you kill a rival gang member with a long purple dildo? or punch a STAG guard in the nuts? You certainly can't do it in GTA. Pimping out your newly found vehicles is fun to do too as you can customise it to whatever you want and whatever colour you want too. Shaundi and your gang return but the one gripe I have is that Johnny ain't in it for very long. I hope that the next one Johnny once again becomes a permenant character.

Go back to Saints Row and find out what you are missing, you will loved riding the row again. Peace!

Now then...The "Full Package" DOES have one slight(ly HUGE) issue...It conflicts with itself.
You install the DLC from a disc. IT works perfectly...OFFLINE
When you want to play online, you redeem your online code, and *Pop* Your DLC disappears, as it seems the Online Code overwrites the first DLC folder..so, straight out of the box you can play with All your DLC, OR, you can play online! LAME!!
So, to solve this....

1: Install the DLC as directed.
2: Start the game, and Redeem Online Code
3: Exit the game, and insert a USB flash drive into the XBOX. (make sure it's formatted to the XBOX.
4: Go to your XBOX System menu. Go to your hard drive, and into the 'Saints Row the Third' folder. Look for the folder called "Saints Row the Third - The First", and move it to the USB stick.
5: Re-install the whole DLC disc TO THE HARD DRIVE.
6: Start the game WITH THE USB STICK INSERTED. you should now have Online pass, and ALL of your DLC. YAY!!

This is obviously not an ideal situation, but it is unfortunately the best option around...THQ are no more, so they are unlikely to ever be releasing a patch to fix the problem. :(
HOWEVER, Do NOT let this stop you from buying this terrific game, it's the most fun I've had since GTA Vice City.
If you don't fancy all this faffing about, just buy the standard edition, and individually buy the DLC, as I believe (not 100% on this, if someone could verify that would be great) that it does NOT suffer from this problem.

Right, I thought that this might be more helpful than just another review in the pile, but since this IS supposed to be a review, I will now do the review part,
Um, GTA with a few screws loose, would be the best way to describe this game. Great fun!

I was never into this game so I didn't bother with it till I got bored and thought I'd try it out. I have to say after playing it, it's like the funniest game I've ever played and at the same time, it's hugely entertaining! The side missions are amazing, there's hours of fun and the DLC the best addition to this game :)

My verdict= get this game!!!!!

The game itself doesn’t take itself too seriously. It has often been compared to GTA. However I would say were GTA tries to be funny and not take itself too seriously but can’t seem to go that extra mile. Saints Row goes all the way to the insane asylum and then promptly fires a shark bait gun at the inmates to watch them get eaten by a sewer shark. That’s right this game has a gun that fires chum at passersby that then summons a sewer shark to eat them. That’s how you do tongue in cheek in a big way over the top way. If that sounds like your cup of tea then you’ll love this game. If you’re easily offended then what ever you do don’t get the big dildo out and beat some poor passerby with it because that would be really shocking and offensive.
Get this game its fun and you’ll be supporting a good development team that deserve praise for having the balls to do outlandish in a stylish way.
I would recommend this version due to all the extra content you get, it makes it great value for money as you’ll be getting all the DLC with the game.

SR3 is a good game, it's fun, it's funny and you're going to have a great time. Hands down, end of story.
That however doesn't make it a great game - it's really not - the city of Steelport is a let-down after Stillwater (think how GTA4 was a let-down after San Andreas) and some of the missions are awful - literally drive across a city to talk to somebody.
What makes SR3 work is that it knows it's limitations story wise so just lets you have as much as in-between as you can. From the weapons, to the outfits and even car customisation (GTA take note as you've lost this feature), this game has everything.
If you just want to kill a couple of hours having a good time, then this game is for you.

The extra content (DLC) is good as it gives some fun extra missions (superpowers - hmmm.... I wonder were they got the idea for SR4) and all the bonus costumes and vehicles - flying broom, hello harry potter.
