This is truly a beautiful book full of wonderful recipes. Many of them are ones I know but could never recreate in the way that my mum or grandma made them. I’ve also never bought a book that I’ve used so often. I’ve already made at least 12 of the dishes and made them more than once. There are still many I want to make. My all time favourites are the saffron porridge and the cardamom and date mohanthal. If you have no idea what I’m talking about....buy the book and make them. The recipes are really easy to follow and really uncomplicated. Plus they are all a healthy take on all these yummy dishes I grew up with. The recipe for handvo was amazing, this is something I have tried to make several times before and I could never get it to the right consistency, I also used pre-bought flour whereas Mira’s recipe is from scratch - this was a total success this time round.
