Great CD, and great band live. Many tracks on here I just go straight back to the beginning to listen again, and I usually listen to the whole thing twice through anyway. A really cool fusion of Arabic and other musics, and an epic catchy sound. Will definitely look out for them in future.

I'm excited to find a new fusion artist who combines North African and Middle Eastern influences with Western ones. It's a rich field, but there's always room for a gifted newcomer -- and Imed Alibi is very gifted indeed.

What he brings to his music is not simply his talent (he is an outstanding Tunisian percussionist who has backed the likes of Rachid Taha and Safy Boutella) but a slickness that would, with a lot of musicians, be off-putting. In Imed Alibi's case, the level of organization is a delight to listen to. While I love the ragged edges and spare arrangements so common in this field, the "wall of sound" which Imed Alibi generates is thrilling.

A very exciting album, and highly recommended to all lovers of dramatic, pacy, Middle-Eastern-flavoured soundtracks.

This is one of the most instantly captivating albums I have heard for ages. The rythms are complex and fascinating, the songs are excellent, and the music is incredibly sexy!

Jazz / techno meets arabic sounds - I've hardly stopped listening to this since buying it. Exactly how modern world music should be.
