Its relatively light weight, I kept it in the box it arrived in and just put it in my suitcase and it survived the journey in perfect order. It works perfectly well, chopping shredding and grating and really does the job. I have a bigger food processor at home, but there isn't anything that does that this cannot do. The motor may smaller than a standard food processor, but it works so what more do I need.
I bought this item from Pembroke Dock Hardware. I bought various items from various sellers of varying sizes and values all of which arrived within a few days of ordering. The item from Pembroke Dock Hardware had't arrived by the estimated date (11/12). It then didn't arrive the day after the estimated time (12/12) so I contacted the seller. The response they gave me basically constituted of 'wait a bit longer'. I explained that I was concerned that it wouldn't arrive in time for Christmas as it was a present. I advised that the response they gave me didn't fill me confidence. The tracking number provided also didn't work. I advised that I would require a refund if nothing arrived soon so I could buy something elsewhere as I didnt want to risk not having it by Christmas. Andrew at PDH even had the cheek to start one of his emails with 'Hello (sigh)'. I'm not sure why the emotive language was required but I guess this shows the level of professionalism and customer services you will receive from them. I was then in a position to make an A-Z claim against them so processed it. Magically in response the tracking number was changed from DN10XXXXXX0TC to 5542874XXXXXX559 which you will see are very different numbers. The item arrived the following day so I cancelled the claim. Oddly enough though, it would appear from the labels on the package that it wasn't desptached until the 12/12 (the day I contacted to say it hadn't arrived). I think you can make your own mind up about what actually happened but I have my own theories. In one of their emails they made me feel like I should be lucky the item was even sent out in the first place when they said "The £2.30 delivery charge doesn't even cover the cost of Economy Delivery".Read more ›
