Product Description
SUNLU Grey PLA Plus 3D Printer Filament 1.75mm 1KG Spool Filament for 3D Printing, 3D Pens, Dimensional Accuracy +/- 0.02 mm
SUNLU 3D Printer filament and 3D Pen is a place where your imagination is brought to life.
Designed with superior quality and best user experience in mind, SUNLU 3D Printer Filament is manufactured with industry-leading high precision tolerance (±0.02MM) to ensure that you spend less time trouble shooting and more time creating!
What is PLA Plus?
PLA Plus is an enhanced version of our PLA that's less brittle and more durable. PLA Plus is for applications where good vibration absorption and a lower fracture rate is needed.
PLA Plus 3D Filament Feature?
PLA Plus SUNLU has higher impact strength than ABS and PLA with a heat resistance rivaling that of ABS! Available in 1.75mm diameter, SUNLU PLA+ will help your 3D printed projects look amazing and perform amazing. Anneal your design after 3D printing for even better heat resistance.
SUNLU Printer Filament Storage Tips?
1. Since PLA+ material is made from biodegradable sources, it is susceptible to moisture.
We recommended storing filament in a sealed plastic bag or box after each print (a large ziplock or Tupperware works well).
2. In extreme cases where the filament gets damp, you can bake it in an oven with 50-degree Celsius for about an hour to restore its dryness.
Reminder: Each time after use of your 3D Printer Filament?
Be sure to insert the free end of the filament into the hole to avoid the filament being tangled for next time use.

Prints are more satin than gloss which I prefer, but I'm guessing this is probably temperature dependent as the filament on the spool is quite glossy. It's really hard to describe the print texture but it is not unpleasant at all. Layer lines are visible and feelable at a 0.2mm layer height and rubbing surfaces do wear down nicely. It seems less brittle than regular PLA, which I would expect with the + additives, but trying to clip a ball into a socket can still cause the piece to break but I've had a lot more success with this filament.
Overall, I'm very impressed with this filament for its amazon prime price and next day (sometimes evening) delivery.
It has to be printed at a higher temperature than regular PLA, between 205 and 220 centigrade but this doesn't seem to negatively affect the prints.
I have the grey and the colour of the printed items matches that of the filament so there doesn't seem to be any colour change taking place during printing.
Bed adhesion is pretty much the same as other filaments I've used so no issues there - I heat the bed to 60 and use a modest amount of glue stick to help with adhesion with all filaments.
Overall, I'm very happy with this product and would buy it again.
Printing on a Creality Ender 3
The photos shows a model pre clean-up (and it had a fair amount of supports) and I also broke the tail when I accidentally sat on the model, but it gives a good indication of the printed look.
I would have liked a resealable bag for storing but the plastic vacuum bag that it comes in does wrap up sufficiently to keep it dry along with the silica pouch supplied.
A quality filament. I will look into other colours as I need them.

I was running out of my 1st spool of filament which was Comgrow standard PLA and after some research I found information's that PLA+ filament should give, not big, but a bit better print quality, not as much stringing as standard PLA etc.
After looking for some PLA+ filament I've found Sunlu PLA+ with a lot of positive feedbacks and gave it a chance to try it out.
After setting up a spool of Grey SUNLU PLA+ I had a problem from beginning.
1st and biggest problem of it was not sticking to printers bed. I've tried out temps from 190 up to 220 as recommended by others. NO RESULTS. Tried to level my bed again. NO RESULTS. Tried with all other adhesion options (not with hairspray, glue sticks and something similar because I don't want to do that). I've already started to doubt my printer which is Creality Ender 3D, but there was no place for doubt because I went back to my 1st spool of already mentioned filament and everything was fine as it was when I just started printing , perfect adhesion, perfect prints and everything else.
So the conclusion...
Is 2 days of struggling to even start printing with some filament worth? NO
Is this money worth all that time? NO
Are all these positive feedbacks true? Definitely NO IDEA
I gave 2 stars only for packaging (vacuum sealed bag with silica gel in it).
