Bargain for the price and the amount of bulbs you get, gives good light too but I have come to the conclusion that they just don't make light bulbs like they used to and they certainly don't last as long and I've tried many brands so it's not down to one brand in particular but on the plus side I would sooner climb a ladder every week or so to replace nice bright bulbs than suffer those energy saving bulbs that don't give good light immediately when they are switched on.

Thankfully they are still making tungsten filament bulbs in China and these are very cheap. These are still better than the latest overpriced substitute that does not last any longer but is made with far more toxic materials. Some people may remember that Tony Blair and his EEC cronies outlawed the making of tungsten filament bulbs on environmental grounds around the same time as he found the Weapons of Mass Destruction.
But then you have to ask what the hell does a barrister know about the physics of converting electrical energy into visible light.

Bought these bulbs as I was fed up with looking for a spare bulb then having to go to the shop for 1 bulb. Buying a large pack like this works out a lot cheaper then buying them individually and now we always have a good supply of bulbs under the sink.

Cheap but not too cheerful if you keep having to replace the bulbs every few days. Some of mine popped straight out of the box.

Note on the side of each light-bulb box are the words 'Not suitable for household room illumination".

That's a puzzle!

So far 3 of the bulbs have blown within the first month and four are still going after several months. You get what you pay for and as long as I have four working bulbs for at least a year I'll have saved money based on the cost of equivalent bulbs sold on the high street. One tip when buying these bulbs is to open each packet and hold the bulb to your ear and lightly shake it side to side. If you hear a tinkly rattle DO NOT PLUG IT IN as these are the bulbs that blow and can trip your fuse. The filament may look intact visually but something is wrong and I found that the ones that have something loose inside are the ones that blow.

Most of this type of bulb seem to blow the house fuses every time one goes. I've had the same problems with another make, so assume this is par for the course. If your prepared to put up with this, they're okay.

UPDATE: having come to the conclusion that all candle bulbs trip the light fuse, I ordered these again. If this is going to happen, it may as well happen with inexpensive ones!

These bulbs are useless/dangerous.... don't buy them!

I used them in my electric fire.

They only lasted a few months and when they blow, the glass always breaks from the metal screw. making it difficult/dangerous to remove them. They always blow with a loud bang and trip the electrical circuit.

They are nice and bright, but after a month, half of these bulbs have blown with a pop, on startup. Each time the circuit breaker has also gone too, leaving us in the dark.
The other half have been fitted to replace them, and I'm not expecting them to last another month either.
Either the design is faulty, or this was a really bad batch.
