Top Customer Reviews
The Ludacris Soul cans are much clearer, tighter bass, sweet treble and a really clear open mid-range. Sond reasonably good on bog standard MP3s where they do not try to enhance anything but really go to work on lossless FLAC or CD sources pladed through a proper CD player and a decent amp. Much cheaper than beats but better quality sound. Blue lights are a bit pointless but you can turn this off and you need a decent connection cable - the stock one is OK but has a built in volume switch which ruins the quality. Noise cancellation cuts a bit of background noise and works unobtrusively but is not great.
Good price and better quality for serious muso's but not as good as the latest Bose cans.
Read great reviews all about and for some reason ordered them without ever listening to them in person. First thing's first, they look good, as good as they look in the pictures, there's no doubt they're one of the best looking headphones around, arguably beating Beats too. They're comfortable too, that I can't fault, though they do seem like they will get warm pretty quickly. I use headphones a lot on the computer so in the summer these could become uncomfortably warm with long wear.
Time to try them. I plug them in expecting all sorts of good things and then it's just a tin can. Honestly the sound quality is poor, they sound very much like cheap in-ear headphones. For some sort of practical example of this sound cup your hands, bring them to your mouth and speak - this is what they sound like. They have a setting to put noise reduction on (more like a bass boost) this requires batteries. The bass doesn't ever really kick in unless they are LOUD, then you will have the problem of sound leakage. These are one of the worst headphones I've ever heard for this. If you play at 50% volume on a normal PC you will be able to hear them in another room, they are almost like speakers.
One good thing is you can listen to the headphones without batteries however the sound quality sounds on par with a pair of £15 over the head, headphones without the bass boost.Read more ›
