Warranty and Regulatory Booklet
From the manufacturer
Sonos is the wireless Home Sound System that fills your entire home with great-sounding music. Use one app to stream different music to Sonos speakers in different rooms. Or play the same song all through the house.
Contents: CONNECT:AMP, power cable, Ethernet cable, 1 RCA stereo cable, 1 stereo mini to RCA Y-audio cable, Quick Start guide and legal/warranty information.
Sonos CONNECT:AMP. The amplified music streaming upgrade for your speakers.
Use CONNECT:AMP to stream music services and internet radio to any existing speakers – no receiver required. It can also send the music playing on your turntable to Sonos speakers throughout your home.
Stream to any speakers, inside your home or out in the garden: whether floor-standing or in-wall, CONNECT:AMP adds streaming capabilities to all the speakers you own and love. It works with permanently installed patio or poolside speakers, too.
Amped up audio performance for audiophiles: a built-in Class-D digital amplifier delivers 55W per channel of sound to your existing speakers.
Attach CONNECT:AMP to your speakers using standard speaker wire. Plug it in. Then connect it wirelessly to your Sonos system using the app for uninterrupted wireless music streaming.
WiFi, not Bluetooth
With Sonos, music streams from your WiFi network (not your phone), so there's never any of the dropouts, delays or interruptions associated with Bluetooth.
One room streaming music is great. But a houseful is even better. Fill more rooms with music by simply adding more Sonos speakers. They all work together seamlessly so you can play different songs in different rooms, or the same song everywhere.
Rekindle your love for music
Sonos makes it easy to bring music back into your life. Enjoy old favourites or discover something new. With Sonos, music wakes you in the morning, surrounds you all day, and fills every moment with the full-body joy of listening out loud.
All the music on earth
Sonos plays everything: the most popular streaming services, internet radio, your favourite podcasts and audiobooks, your go-to collection of downloads – whatever you love to listen to.
Access all the music on earth through the Sonos app, or control Sonos directly from the Spotify app.
One app. Complete music control.
Choose what to play, where to play it, and how loud. In one room, or in every room of your home. Track down songs across all your music services with a single search. Create playlists in an instant. The Sonos app does it all.

It is expensive, as are all Sonos, but there is little alternative.
I am having ongoing trouble with WiFi interference, that Sonos support have yet to accept is even a problem.
[Two Years On - and Update]
Sonos were never able to solve the WiFi problems that plagued my whole setup (four rooms).
I ended up running network cables through the whole house, and everything has been reliable since. It took two years to do, hence the update.
I still love the sound of this unit paired with B&W ceiling speakers. It provides power and detail as required.
It also works very well with my turntable (phono amp required), which I have configured to automatically play on a pair of Sonos:3 speakers in another room.
In conclusion: After two years of play, I am still loving my Sonos:AMP and would recommend. BUT: I do not believe the WiFi setup is as robust as they claim.
I wish I'd gone down this route years ago rather than investing in bose. I'll be changing these out for Sonos One and Play3 over the next couple of months I think..
The system is very fast and responsive in use. We have a lot of music (over 1,000 CDs) and at various times they've been loaded into iTunes, Google Play and Amazon Music library. We play music either from the Amazon Music library using Alexa and the Echo Dot or the Sonos app.
The Sonos app is the only one that is fast to use when managing so many albums. 1000 CDs with about 10 tracks each is only 10,000 data items and it seems odd this is a challenge for modern apps but only the Sonos app manages it.
All of my Sonos zones (I have five now) are hard wired to my home network so I rarely use the wireless functionailty of the system. Performance in my setup is flawless.
I listen to CDs ripped as Apple lossless files on a NAS drive, Spotify and also internet radio (BBC6Music, Radio 2, 5 live and also local stations). Quality is good across the board, radio is weakest as you would expect but still good.
Group any number of zones or play different stuff in each and have total control from your phone. What's not to like?
Sonos regularly update their software, all free of charge. Their customar support is also excellent, should you need to use it, and there are excellent forums on the Sonos website.
Sound quality otherwise is fine, but that's mainly down to your speaker!
Overall, very good!
Good quality solid player, amplification is not stellar, but loud enough for my needs and means I can use my own speakers (and change them at will in the future) vs using the built in Sonos speakers. Horses for courses.
