How Does The Stream Engine Work?
Stream engine detects and automatically prioritises data streams. This means the router knows that you are gaming, sending emails or surfing the internet. All popular games, messenger programs etc. are also pre-configured in the router so you don't have to set up port forwarding manually.
QOS and Stream Engine?
QOS is a service that prioritises traffic, but you always have to set up manually (Stream Engine does this automatically). The Gaming Router II also features WISH technology (Wireless Intelligent Stream Handling), this is more or less Stream Engine for the wireless part (other brands only have QOS for the wired part) a major advantage.
