4.5 stars. Reviewed on behalf of A Book Lover's Emporium

Ooooh I love a good thriller book with a touch of romance and suspense and this one does not disappoint. It has twists and turns galore and takes you on a real rollercoaster of emotions. I devoured this book in 2 days and that’s saying something for me as I’m quite a slow reader.

BT Urruela is a former military guy who has had his eye on a petite little blonde in his acting class for the past few weeks now. Every time he’s asked her out she’s said no but that doesn’t mean he’s giving up without a fight. There is just something about this little firecracker that has gotten under his skin.

Aviana Maguire has sworn off relationships FOREVER. Not having the best role model in life, her father left her and her mother when she was young, she expects all men to be the same and so uses them for one thing, sex – and she doesn’t go back for seconds. As much as she feels something with BT she cannot let herself say yes – until one day she surprises herself and does.

But she doesn’t have long to dwell on this fact as after her date she is kidnapped from her apartment and is held captive for someone else’s debt. BT cannot stand the fact that she has gone missing and so hatches a plan to rescue her. But will all go according to his plan?

This book is written really well and has an extremely fast pace which I loved and felt it added to the suspense of the book. It has dual POV’s which I love in a book now and has light touches of humour to keep the book on the right side of dark(ish). Nothing is described in too much detail and this keeps the story on track and you glued to your kindle.

From a fantastic author the end result could only be a fantastic book. Marie James once again you managed to surprise me.
When I finished reading SINdicate what I thought was that I had read another fantastic book to join to my collection. The way Marie James writes can captivate us from the first sentence.
This book turns towards Aviana and BT, the whole book is told but their point of views and each chapter we know a little more of their lives, fears and goals.
Aviana has an abusive and neglectful past and because of that she is very reserved and not easily trusts people. She does not believe in love and because of it she doesn’t want to have a relationship with anyone because she thinks that "happily ever after" is a big lie. For her no one can love unconditionally and madly. What matters to her are one-night stands, with no strings attached and no promises.
BT is a retired officer due to an accident, but his sense of camaraderie and loyalty remains.
From the first time he saw Aviana he knew he wanted her. He knew that behind those hazel eyes and that serious face was a woman willing to love and surrender.
When Aviana is kidnapped the only thing he is sure is that he have to save her, no matter what.
This book explores corruption, crime, but also explores love, loyalty and friendship.
Why is it that the children are the ones that have to pay for the parents' mistakes? How far can fear change our way of seeing life? You can make something good out of the midst of a tragedy?
I loved the fact that Cerberus MC Clan came back because I missed Kincaid and all the family.
One thing I guarantee you, I loved this book and cannot wait for the next one, because you Marie James are an amazing author, so I want more your books from you, please.

ARC REVIEW

Sindicate is very different to Marie James's other books, this one gives you alittle extra dark & twisted along side her excellent writing of sexy scenes, drama, twists & romance.

Sindicate's storyline is unique and refreshing, starts of sweet and gentle but soon changes into an action packed full on tale.

BT Urruela is a hot sexy alpha passionate man, who has many talents from army man, personal trainer to attending acting classes. He takes life at a steady pace never falling for anyone woman until he spots....

Avianna in his acting class, Avianna has lived a troubled past and is not into relationships, she guards her heart with iron walls and trust does not come easily.

When Avianna's past catches up with her she is caught in the middle of a war, does BT have the strength to save and capture her heart ?

Loved how the Cerberus MC were also party of this story.
