Screen is of very good quality, very responsive. All built in functions works as they shuold (gps, wifi, bt, sensors).
You can put two sim cards in! How good is that? And to add, you don't need to swap between them in settings, they are both active at the same time!
16gb onboard memory, which is your internal SD, so you actually install your apps on internal SD. There is no split between system partition and sd partition - great!
External memory card slot - perfect! Even more memory!
Replaceable battery, so possibly you can fit in expanded memory instead.
Not so big cons:
-capacitive buttons got no backlight
-no nfc (did anyone ever used it?)
Pros: Fast and plenty of internal storage. Camera and sound are fine for this budget price. Dual sim is a great additional option for those with separate personal and business numbers.
Cons: While idle (screen off) the battery holds it's charge very well, but when in use it can drain fairly quickly. Hopefully they will release the lollipop update soon which I understand has better power management.
The 'back' capacitive button can be a little slow/unresponsive at times (that could just be me getting used to hitting the right spot though as that button was on the other side with my old phone).
Unable to assign a ringtone to a whole contact group automatically, they have to be done individually (been through the manual and all on screen options and cannot find a means to do it if there is one).
All in all great value for the money and pleased with the purchase.
Other features such as the dual SIM option will be useful for separating personal and work calls without carrying two phones. Initially, the Emotion UI takes a bit of getting used to, I spent ages looking for an Apps folder only to find there isn't one, icons for all Apps just get created on the Home screen when you install. However, not having an Apps folder encourages you to create folders which I've found are a better way of accessing Apps anyway. There are probably some better budget phones out there but for not in my experience for under £100. If you can live with a slightly substandard camera I would highly recommend this.
Its so impressive that we can buy phones like these today , it takes the pressure off people to spend a lot of money.
I'm in no hurry to get my phone fixed as it will cost nearly twice as much as the holly , camera is also pretty good.
Dual sim is a breeze to use
Phone has no cover , yet it has less scratches than my s4 got , which had a cover
My only gripes after a few days are the accessories. How many pence (or fractions of a pence) would it have cost Huawei/the customer to include a couple of screen savers in the box. I mean this is a budget phone after all, so it's not going to have gorilla glass... Or even better, by this time I'm sure everyone has a kitchen drawer full of micro USB cables and chargers. Why not sell it with a case and screen saver instead of giving everyone yet another charger?
I have not been disappointed at all with this phone. Personally I think they are as good, if not better, than all the other brand names out there.
This phone does everything that all the top brands can do but for a fraction of the price.
I would highly recommend the Huawei series to anyone.
