As for the product. Given this is a high protein product it actually tastes pretty good. It is not too high on the calories, about 280 per bar, and is good for breakfast the day after the gym.
It tastes better than some well known shakes, but it doesn't have any creatine in so I usually have a shake a day as well.
I would recommend these bars.
That said, there is a faint taste of flapjack in there somewhere.
Many people have recommended other brands, but all of those "good tasting" bars seem to have very low protein content per bar (cleverly hidden by marketing). For example, it's easy to find protein bars that are apparently delicious, only to find out they only have 10g protein per bar and a ton of sugar (keep in mind, a normal Snickers bar has 7g, so why not go with that instead?).
So in short, the taste is not great - but if you care about that, I highly recommend either lowering your expectations or going with bars that have (usually much) lower protein content or cost a fortune.

Absolutely disgusting. No-one is expecting a protein bar to taste good, but a decent start would have it not tasting like glue. Read morePublished 1 month ago by Zebulebu
