I mounted mine inside a wooden chest and ran all my cables through it as a wife friendly solution. The box itself is tiny and doesn't seem to heat up much. The power supply is almost as big as the device, which came with a rated UK plug.
I also added a bluetooth APTX adapter so I can stream audio direct to the amp wirelessly at a decent bit rate. Overall very pleased.

PROS:
- Can drive small to medium sized bookshelf speakers to good loudness levels.
- Low power usage, I measured 5w when it's sat doing nothing and the same when it's playing music.
- Dosent heat up much at all, the case remains cool. The power brick dosent get hot either.
- Simple device, does 1 thing and does it well.
CONS:
- None.
Overall, if you're looking for a cheap amp to drive some speakers or your budget is seriously contained then this amp is worth the consideration. I won't talk about sound quality because its a pretty cheap amp, all I will say is I had it hooked up to KEF LS50's when waiting for my larger amp to arrive and it sounded pretty awful, but it did make sound which was fine for a week or so. So I wouldn't pair this with any difficult to drive or high end speakers but for lower end ones which are easy to drive, go wild!
As someone who used to work in the pro-audio industry, it's fair to say I'm a little fussy about sound. I'm not a hi-fi 'audiophile', but I've a decent ear and understand how audio works. This is a digital (class D) amplifier, hence it's size and price, and as such performs very well. The dynamic range seems OK, it's difficult to drive it into distortion and it's pleasing to listen to.
I drive a pair of Monitor Audio Bronze 2's from it, which I use as my office speakers connected up to the computer. The amp has no problem driving the speakers and it gets nowhere near clipping or distorting even at higher levels.
Build quality is very good - all-metal construction with an external power bring (not a wall-wort). It's hooked up 8 hrs a day, 5 days a week as after a year I've had zero problems.

Dropped a star because the quality control could be better, the first unit broke after about 20 minutes of use, the second has a loose piece inside it and a slight scratch on the front panel, although it doesn't affect the actual use of the unit sat on my desk.
I tried the SA-36 previously and found that a little underpowered for my speakers, I recommend paying the extra £10 for this. Sound quality is really good, probably better than the ageing amp it replaced - again that was at least 15 years old so perhaps that shouldn't be a surprise. Mine came with a fused UK legal plug which seems to be a common cause for concern. The SA-36 from a different vendor did too, so I think the manufacturer has likely replaced the power cable on later units. Other concerns I had before buying were that the holes for the speaker cable are reported as being small, I didn't really find this a problem with the 13 amp mains cable I use for speakers (audiophiles don't feel the need to comment, this is the ad hoc standard in the recording industry, the recording studio your music was mixed in likely used the same kind of cable and if it's good enough for them...)
This one, unfortunately, started to cut out on the left channel and started running hot. That was with it being used with low volume running Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 speakers, not very hard to drive at all!!!
Other than that; it was a great amp to begin with, solid power and a great overall soundstage! Ideal for a nearfield system, which is what I had it for (my desktop system)
