As per headline, this just looks like thinned down PVA to me.
Maybe it has some other chemicals to help it evaporate quicker in there, but essentially, it's just PVA.
Just like PVA, it will seal an MDF board, but given this costs a lot more, probably would have been better off just buying some cheap PVA and thinning it with water.
Anyway, it works, I assume. I'm not going to chuck a glass of water over my home made coffee table to find out.
