Whilst the steam generated is not as much as the Tefal I used at my folks' house, this still represents excellent value for money.
It makes a very good job of virtually everything we have to iron - the only exception is a high thread count duvet cover - the iron just doesn't have the oomph needed to get this pristine (but I must say that I'm a fussy bugger!)
Great being able to detatch the water tank - makes filling much less tedious!
Product is used both domestically and commercially and has proved to be a real boon.
The iron itself is fine as far as doing the job is concerned.However-I have just learned from the Russell Hobbs Helpline that the noise it makes every couple of minutes or so[sounds like a bullock bellowing very loudly] is due to the iron using a certain amount of pressure. Its no joke and if you have a baby asleep nearby-or anybody else for that matter it will certainly wake them up.It doesnt make using this item a pleasure at all and forget watching the tv whilst ironing, its too noisy.I'm afraid I will have to buy another iron sooner than expected as this is soooo annoying,so its a case of false economy in this instance.
I would recommend that you look elsewhere as for £80 I would expect something that at least produces decent results.
