The toaster boasts two independent carriages so you have the option of using just one side of the toaster if toasting two slices or both if you want four. The Legacy Toaster has a frozen bread feature that allows you to toast bread straight from the freezer without having to defrost it first, a useful time saver if you’re rushing around in the morning. It also has a cancel option which lets you stay in control of the toasting cycle and a reheat function to give your toast a quick blast without going through a whole toasting cycle again. With a 1.7 L capacity jug, it’s big enough to make up to six cups, making it an ideal choice for family homes. The Legacy Kettle has a 360° base so it can be comfortably used by right and left-handed people. To keep your worktop clutter free, the base has integrated cord storage so it can be tidied away when it’s not in use.

When I got this toaster, I was extremely happy. This toaster is extremely reflective, light weight and looks posh :). The levers are very smooth and so is the knobs and buttons in the front. The toasting slot are way bigger than a normal toaster (see pic attached). I have tried this with warburtons bread which is what we used all the time and it toasted perfectly.
Now what I discovered was that you can actually turn the bread on it's side and then put it in the toaster and it will fit perfectly (see pic below). This will allow the bread to toast all over. If you put the bread standing in the toaster then it will have an extra space at the top that would not be toasted (see pic below).
When you have the front knobs set to 1, it would barely toast your bread but I usually have it on 3 which give me a nice crispy toast. So far I have found NO negative thing about this toaster and I am thoroughly enjoying it. I would recommend this to anyone.
Amazingly the reheat function actually works - though I am not sure how it does it. All in all a very good toaster for the money!

Update: had this toaster for 11 months now and every time I try to use it it blows a house fuse, a bit of testing has eliminated the house fuse or house socket as a fault and points to the toaster as the problem. I haven’t had time to check further but tbh my coffee maker legacy by RH also 11 months old is now playing up (see my updated review for that product) which leads me to believe that this brand sells short term products! From now on I’ll be saving for better quality products and remembering the saying: buy cheap buy twice!
The toaster features the standard frozen, reheat and eject buttons with a 'brownness' dial which seems to be consistent regardless of being the first or third consecutive use. The slots are just long enough to squeeze in my Warburton's length ways to get a good even browning and wide enough to take waffles, crumpets etc without issue.
What I particularly like is that the slots are controlled as independent pairs so that no energy is wasted of only doing two slices, both can have different presets and one can be defrosting whilst the other is warming (for example).
I did deliberate over this purchase as it felt like a lot for a kettle and toaster when they can be purchased so cheaply elsewhere but I'm glad I paid the extra as they feel great quality to use, perform well and seem to be build to last.
Anyway I was pleased with the design, very nice and looks lovely! Just hope it doesn’t stop working after a while!!
Update. Still not working, having to return item! I’d avoid this toaster
Would recommend, just be wary of packaging!
