I rarely ever buy CD singles, but for tracks like this, I make an exception. This is a glorious, anthemic song which makes the hairs on the back of the neck stand up on end. As a previous reviewer has suggested, this track has distinct leanings towards Coldplay, and the track "Yellow" in particular. This is surely no bad thing. Buy this single and ensure it at least makes it into the top 40!

This has to be the first beautiful song released in 2004. The band haven't had much success but this single is destined to do well. Its a great ballad wich is a very coldplay-esque tune. If you like coldplay no doubt this will tickle your taste buds! In my opinion, having already heard the new singles by Keane "somewhere only we know" and Franz Ferdinand "Take Me out", this song is up there with the best. Do not hesitate to buy this, its one of the best songs you will ever hear! That isnt an over statement either!

Good quality, downloaded instantly and love the album artwork BUT this was not the song I thought it would be, it was a live recording so at the end and beginning you can hear applauding and during the chorus singing from the audience can be heard, however the quality was good and it was the right song (Snow Patrol Run) so it was OK but I would have preferred the song not to have been live. :l Although Snow Patrol do sound great so no complaint there. :)

This song has got it just right. The right tone, the right sound and length. It does't try to go above itself and keeps the rhythm and lyrics simple. The way it sweeps over you sends a shiver up my spine, the slow paced guitar riffs and haunting voice of Gary Lightbody create the perfect piece of alternate music Ive heard in a long time.

The Tsunami Relief Concert, 70,000 people in the Millennium Stadium, with little red LED torches - this is the song when we chose to 'Light up'. It's emotion was overwhelming. This is a song to touch the heart. It's not one for a boogie, it's one to close your eyes and absorb. If you ever get a chance to watch them perform this live, take it!

this song has got to be the most moving song of 2004. it has a beautiful rhythm and it's great how it just builds up to the chorus, and then it quitens down again. you must get this track if you are destined to buy only one single in your life.
