Son of Chogyam Trungpa. Follows on in the tradition. Giving a very clear view of how we can better manage our selves in this life. Not lofty theory but practical applicable advice from someone who lives a western lifestyle ( or at least knows how we live it)

If mindfulness, buddhism and a more compassionate you have a place in this world(I think they must) then this book is an ideal primer to understand in nice simple language the impact of re-scripting your view of what you, why you do it and how you can change and rule your world.-

Sometimes words are void. There are none that can describe this treasure of a book. I LOVE IT.

In fact this isn't a book; it is a companion!

In this easy-to-read book Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche explains how the "Me" plan (always putting ourselves first) can never bring about real happiness and how the ancient Eastern traditions of wisdom and compassion as embodied in the teachings on Shambhala, far from being exotic navel-gazing, are a practical method for developing confidence and well-being both in ourselves and in others.
