K J Charles weaves a web of emotional and sexual tension in this Society of Gentlemen novella.

K J Charles weaves a web of emotional and sexual tension in this Society of Gentlemen novella.

As per usual, she writes a stunningly good story with characters you would like to hate, but end up liking!

A First Class story teller.

A short story containing two of the minor characters from a fashionable indulgence and telling us their back story. I enjoyed this immensely, as I have all the other stories from A Society of Gentlemen series. I should very much like to read more about this pair. I'm sure Gabriel Ashleigh has a knack for getting himself into scrapes and Francis is just the man to get him out of them.

I didn't know this existed until someone told me about reading this before starting the first book in the series. So glad I listened and bought this. I very much enjoyed it and cannot wait to read the others.

firstly the reason i am giving it 4 stars. Not because it was not good, it was lovely. Not because it was written badly, it was a joy to read. My four stars are for one reason alone. It was too Short. I wanted more, more i tell you. I am pretty sure it could have been a full book and not just a short. I was also disappointed when i got to 60% of the story and it finished .. the rest is a clip from another of the Society books.
Having said all that, i really liked it.
