Loved Lila’s Billionaire with a Twist series so when I heard about this one I knew right away I would want to read it. Laurel is a bookworm, fantasy Sci-fi nerd who loves the minions. Seriously its like I’ve been sucked into a book and its freaking awesome. Loved this so much. Goes down as another off my 2016 Bookworm Bingo Challenge – A contemporary romance.

Laurel has found herself in a bit of a mess when her producer boss runs away with a star lead from their show they are currently filming. She now has no show and more importantly fears she has no job. That’s until the boss of the company calls her into his office to give her a sink or swim shot at pulling together a new show concept within the week. No pressure then! With her a**hat ex also being in the running to get a new show idea this pushed Laurel to go all in as she doesn’t want to really think about what could happen if she fails. After a few too many drinks with her friend after work she heads back to the office to go through the old showreels. Her no hold bars, full speed ahead idea at the bar is slowly losing its steam and after being at it for hours she almost gives up, that is until she stumbles across Flints. From the moment he appears on the screen ideas start to form in her mind about a DIY show with Flint as its star. Not only is he good with his hands making things but he is also a dream to look at. When he looks into the camera its almost like he’s talking to her alone. So after getting no response from her messages to him she does what any normal person would do when facing a one shot deal. She travels across the country right up to his door to offer him the chance to be a reality star on his own show. Who wouldn’t say yes to that? Well Flint apparently as he slams the door in her face saying he’s not interested.

This was as upper funny read, it had me giggling for much of the time.
Laurel hates that she grew up in a small town, in her mind she is as city as they come, with huge Hollywood aspirations or at least that is what she thinks!
And when she gets a new job with a television production company, all her dreams have come true, or again so she thinks, because when in house shenanigans put everything in peril, her dream may be crumbling around her but she needed have worried because rather than placing her fledging career at risk, she is handed the opportunity of a lifetime…produce her own show, but one little problem- she has to come up with her own concept and that is easier said than done.
But a chance find leads her to Flint McKay, a sexy man who is less than willing to be part of her scheme. But can she convince him to give her show a shot, it could just turn his family fortunes around and save her career all in one fail swoop?
Life in rural Massachusetts, is everything that Flint wants, it is his happy place but bringing Laurel and the cameras into his life is going to put paid to all that but what option does he have when his family’s future is on the line.
I liked the fizz between the two of them, the chemistry that meant that they drew you into their relationship and refused to let you leave.
They had changes and differences to address but they couldn’t deny the fact that together they had something special…but what they had to work out was, was it special enough?

Laurel has always wanted to make it as a producer but surrounded by sexist pigs who only want to produce shows with lots of boobs and scandal she's having a hard time of convincing anyone to take her seriously. When the channel's hit show gets cancelled Laurel is given the chance of a lifetime - come up with a new hit show to fill the spot and she can produce it. The catch? She only has one week to think of something.

Stuck in the office watching audition tapes until the early hours, she's about to give up when the hottest man she has ever seen fills her screen telling her how to build a house. If she could spend hours watching him build then so could every other woman out there - and they could learn some DIY skills at the same time! He was perfect. If only he would answer her calls.

Never one to admit defeat she hops on a plane and hunts him down. But when she finds him she wasn't expecting him to want nothing to do with it. Her career depends on him and this show. Nothing is going to stop her getting her way, even Flint and his charms. Can she convince him to do the show and manage to keep her hands off of him long enough to film it?

I loved loved LOVED this book! It was funny, sexy and an amazing read. I really loved Laurel and Flint...ok, especially Flint! This book is definitely not one to be missed!
