The graphics are solid, but not amazing, but this suits me fine. There is a multitude of game options and a Career Mode that is leaps and bounds better than Rugby Challenge. Furthermore, the licensing is very impressive, with higher and lower leagues from England and Oceania, and a good number of International teams. The World Cup is good fun, and is more competitive than the real competition! (I.E Australia and New Zealand often get upset my teams like England, Fiji and Samoa). The customisation is terrific too, with an in depth player creator and editor, a team creator (including the ability to make your own kits) and of course editing squad line-ups and transfers.
The game is not flawless however, there are some minor bugs but far from game breaking, the soundtrack seems to be very limited, you will hear the same music a lot in the menu screens, the commentary is definitely inferior to FIFA, but better than Rugby Challenge. However, it still lacks the depth and polish of games like FIFA and Madden, but this is always going to be the case given its lower budget.
All in all it is a great game FOR A RUGBY FAN. If you don't like the sport, you will probably not like the game, if you are a fan however, of Union or League, (To reiterate, I prefer union, but this is a far better rugby game than any other the union entries) this is definitely the king of Rugby gaming and I have played the lot. If you love rugby union buy this game. If you love rugby league buy this game. If you love both (like me) BUY THIS GAME.
