We bought this item and set it up in the garden, and not exaggerating, literally after 10 minutes of my 10 year old playing with it the line and ball had come unravelled and threw off somewhere and one of the do called "sturdy bats" cracked. When I contacted this company and after e-mailing over pictures of the items, I received a reply stating we had used it too "rigorously!!! The box states for children over the age of 8 years and also makes a point of stating the bats are sturdy. Needless to say the spare second ball and line did exactly the same!! So.... If you want you child to gently tap the ball the each other, rather than have some fun, and provably use only for a morning or afternoon before you throw it out, this is the item for you. The company that sells this made no attempts to refund or even exchange instead made ridiculous statements. What makes it worse is my 10 year old is in a cast with a broken leg, so we thought he could hit this around easier ..... exactly how rigorous do you think he could get?!?!?! You have been warned!!!!!

My experience is similar to the first reviewer. Our rackets broke after about an hour or so of setting it up. They weren't being hit rigorously at all - played with by a 5 and 7 year old, in fact. Will definitely not buy again. AVOID!
