I make mead with this honey and its really good ! Well priced and very nice honey.

I would just like to say, I read a comment the other day from someone about honey... He was upset his honey was slightly crystalized upon delivery, say he had to chuck it away because obviously it had gone bad !!!!

Honey doesn't go bad, if it crystalizes all you need to do I warm it up and it turns back into honey. Idiot.

Let's hope I receive a quality bottle of honey, due tomorrow. Amazon items are getting much poorer quality and frequently have to return as not working or fail after a while. Very frustrating. So seller, if you're reading this, take note!!!!

Update...
A new bottle of honey arrived today and was in perfect condition.

NB Seller, please don't send out honey if crystallized, its such a hassle to return it as disabled and find it stressful.

I now give this product 5 stars for quality.

Crystallises very quickly, this was delivered to me on the 20th of Nov (17 days ago) and it looks like this (see photo). I can't get any honey out of it now! My rating is 1 star but if there was a zero or even negative rating then that would be a more accurate rating.

For a 250g bottle of honey in a convenience store, you'll pay around £2.25 to £2.50. So, for 1.36Kg, you'd expect to pay between £12 and £14 for a bottle of this size. That's exactly what I paid on Amazon. Which proves something about modern retail.... I'm not sure what... but it's mind-boggling... That I can get brilliant tasting honey delivered to my door, for the same price as if I got by driving to the next town and finding the convenience store.

1.36Kg is quite a lot, but probably not quite as much as you might think. It lasts us around 3 weeks for breakfasts (on bran flakes etc), and you can't go wrong with the Rowse honeys. They have a nice soft flavour, not some of the more acrid flavours you can get.

I bought this for making mead. We needed a large quantity and this fitted the bill. It's a massive bottle. Just like the smaller bottles in design but big.

I've noted others have said it came crystallised. This one did not so it may have been just a one off. Although it happens when the honey gets really cold so could have been cold in transit. If yours is slightly crystallised just warm it up and it will be perfect again :)

It came packaged very well and was received within the estimated time so really great there :)

Nice honey. Kids love it. However the opening is too large and therefore too much honey gets on the toasts or in the drink and we need to clean the bottle after each serving or it gets very sticky.

I hav had the smaller one frm supermarket price £6 bt it was much lighter in colour
There were things floating around in it aswell which i had never had before ' people on here are saying it is not rowse brand not their label that is on the bottle either & something bt a bar code on bottle aswell that rowse dnt put on it & cud b a bad batch
I am really weary of using it after reading reviews on here & a few things not right with my own bottle
Its a good size bottle for the price & seemed to taste ok bt others are saying they hav had to use 3 more tsps than the usual 1 tsp to get any sweetness & others say its not honey and has a something forei added to it
I hav been really no well thats why i got large bottle to try and help me in my revovery bt one person said they had an upset tummy after taking it ' so think i will jst bin it
