First book in a new MC series, featuring the the club President of the Sinners Tribe Jagger, and their rival clubs presidents daughter Arianne. Jagger's club the Sinners Tribe are a tough group of outlaw bikers, but the reality was a little different they acted a lot softer than we were led to believe. At times the heroine Arianne seemed a lot tougher than any of the men. I also found Jagger's internal thoughts amusing, for instance when thinking on one of his prospects Wheels, he's thinking that he's loquacious. Really that didn't seem the type of vocabulary that a outlaw biker would use. It felt like that they were just acting out, trying to be tough.
But I did think the romance between jagger and Arianne was sweet.

New MC series is always good to find. A seriously good storyline and characters just begging to be given their own books!
I loved Vexy`s character, she was a mix of defiance and mouthy brat that turned Jagger inside out. She was his female equivalent but she didn't see it, he did.

Raised in an abusive club, as the presidents daughter she had to be as good as the men if not better to survive what her father dished out.

I loved this and want more!!

Really enjoyed it, very good book, although I would have liked to see more of a softer side with jagger, in private momebnts with arianne, would have been lovely to see that, as at times I thought he was very harsh. All in all great read, will be trying the next one.

I can't resist a new MC book and this one was a really good read, there's so many MC books available now and they're all so similar and yet so different, each writer puts their own spin on their book, will it be dark and gritty or a softer read, will they deal drugs or guns or both or something different, the set-up of the clubs, old ladies, sweet butts, twinkies, bobs you know what I mean within a certain criteria they're all very similar and yet so different and for me the difference is the characters these are ultimately what make or break a book for me. I've lost all patience for TSTL females, the more books I read the less I tolerant I become, after all there's so many good books out there. The main strength of this book in one word is 'Arianne' she's an incredible female character, strong, independent, intelligent, brave etc, etc and yet loving, open and honest I loved her, I loved Jagger as well obviously, I'm female but Arianne made this book for me.
She's had an awful life, born into the MC her father is president and not a nice man at all in fact he's just scum, evil hard ruthless scum, she's tough because she's had to be she's also the best at so many things again because she's had to be and it's truly a wonder she's the person she is. All Arianne wants to do is escape she wants a normal life away from her father, the club, the drugs, the killings she wants normal and she's been working and planning for years to get it and just when its within her reach she finds herself held captive in a rival MC's clubhouse, I mean seriously could things get any worse....well yes they could.

The best way to describe Rough Justice? Think star-crossed romance for adults with bikers and a Motorcycle Club, and you're nearly there. The plot is far more complicated than this but in essence it's a forbidden biker romance story.

Jagger is the president of the Sinner's Tribe MC and Arianne/Vexy is the daughter of their main rivals. They shouldn't want each and they definitely shouldn't be together but their sizzling chemistry draws them together and all hell breaks loose.

I loved Arianne's sassy biker chick side and appreciated how she managed to stand up to the bikers and wasn't scared by them. Even with the many biker books I've read I'm not sure I'll ever be able to fully get my head around the idea of 'propery' and women knowing their place, but I appreciate this different culture and I definitely like the leather cuts! This being said it was nice to see a female character in a MC book who was already part of the culture and respected the rules. She may not always agree with all the macho attitudes but she's respectful and never gives in to whinging like many other women in this genre often do.

I couldn't decide whether I really liked Jagger or wanted to hit him. He goes from bad ass and scary, to hot and demanding, to sweet and protective - it's very conflicting but I really approved of his protectiveness in terms of Arianne. I did find myself wondering if people actually speak like the characters do in the book and whether guys really think like Jagger (now I've got Moves Like Jagger in my head).

The star-crossed element made the plot more interesting than your average contemporary romance. Arianne's brother is called Jeff which did keep reminding me of Marie's brother (also called) Jeff in Joanna Wylde's Reaper's Property - but the story is very different.

I really liked Cade and am looking forward to him getting his own book. Will he be able to win you-know-who around?

I received a review copy.
