We've used LPs, Blue Guides, Time Outs, Let's Gos, Frommers and Fodors for this purpose for a number of trips to Greece and elsewhere over the years, and generally Rough Guides hit the mark the best for us. IMHO they provide by far the best cultural and historical context, and the range of recommended accommodations, dining and attractions hits our sweet spot. This volume is no exception, and I recommend it.
