Born and educated in the north east of England, I emigrated to Australia with my husband nearly twenty years ago and currently live near Perth. After a long career in finance and customer service, I took a leap of faith, making the decision to follow my first love - classical history - and returned to University as a mature student.
It was one of the best decisions of my life and I enjoyed every minute of it, recently completing a BA with a double major in Classics & Ancient History and Medieval & Early Modern Studies.
Having developed an abiding passion for anything connected to Ancient Rome, I decided channel my passion into fiction. This culminated in the Hannah's Heirloom sequence of novels, set in the mid-first century AD, taking my heroine from Masada to Pompeii, then north to Roman Britain. Although the scenarios are fictional, each book is woven around historical events, include some romance and a twist
While writing the above novels, I was captivated by the Regency Romance and a whole new series of books has resulted, set in an era which continues to fascinate me. In between all this, a contemporary romance refused to be ignored, so now I have three genres clamouring in my head. It can be chaotic at times but I wouldn't have it any other way.
An avid book reader for all of my life, I wrote these books in styles that I love to read, I hope you enjoy them.
