I've read a few Em Petrova novels now, and I've enjoyed them all, but this is by far my favourite. This is a fun, seriously hot book that is perfect to read after a tough day in the real world. It's set at the fabulous Boot Knockers ranch, a ranch full of hunky 'sex therapists' that help women overcome sexual problems and make there wildest fantasies come true. This is pure escapism at its best!

Tabbart is a celebrity chef with a super successful career, but a less than successful love life. Her whole world revolves around creating new recipes for her TV show, and when she meets her assistant's gorgeous brother she realises what may be missing from her life. She finds out where Stowe works and books a week with him at the Boot Knockers Ranch, and soon finds herself submitting to the Dom From Down Under. As they grow closer a week doesn't seem to be long enough, but when Tabbart is recognised at the ranch her career is put in jeopardy.

Stowe, is an intense, brooding Dom with a panty melting line in dirty talk - he definitely makes it into my Top 10 Book Boyfriends of 2015 list! The chemistry between him and Tabbart is off the scale - they are so hot together! The BDSM and sex scenes were brilliantly written - they are varied, passionate and fabulously kinky. I also enjoyed the insight into the world of a celebrity chef - although the yummy sounding food did make me hungry! I have to say that I loved this book, it's a great easy read that gets five big stars.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review.

Tabbart Tracy’s personal life is colder than a meat locker, so when her assistant’s sexy brother sends her body from a simmer to a rolling boil she tracks him down to the stud ranch where he works in this red hot and spicy western romance.

Stowe knows what the little TV foodie needs and he’s happy to provide it and the reader can’t help but get caught up in the flaming passion while Stowe earns Tabbart’s trust and takes her for the ride of her life. Be prepared for plenty of hot flashes and sizzling sex scenes that include some BDSM and voyeurism while this couple’s relationship sneaks up on them as sends them both into a tailspin of emotional turmoil. These strong and charismatic characters easily steal all your attention while the fast paced smooth flowing plot takes readers on a blazing hot ride of passion and romance.

Tabbart’s situation is a bit different from most of the women that arrive at the Boot Knockers Ranch as she needs to remain incognito which adds some excitement and tension throughout this story as they try to keep their passion contained. The well written scenes and details make it easy for the reader to enjoy with some vivid imagery and electrifying chemistry that flows from the pages while the intriguing events ensure that the readers can’t put the story down.

And let’s face it, there is no way that anyone with an ounce of passion in their veins can refrain from getting all hot and bothered by a ranch full of sexy cowboys much less ones that are there to give as much pleasure as a woman can stand. Now you add to that, one sexy Dom from Down Under and you have one red hot and spicy read that guarantees some flammable fantasies and I sure am looking forward to the next Boot Knocker that will rock my world.

By Book Gannet TOP 1000 REVIEWERVINE VOICE on 29 Sept. 2015
Format: Kindle Edition
Taking another raunchy visit to the Boot Knockers Ranch, this fifth installment in the series is every bit as hot and sexy and I’d expect, leaning heavily on the BDSM side of things this time. I did enjoy it, but I don’t know if it was just me but I found the non-sex parts more interesting – which is good in one way because it means this story is about more than sex, and yet if the sex can’t keep my interest in a book like this, something isn’t right (probably me).

However, I’m not always the biggest fan of D/s relationships – my first few reads in the sub-genre were pretty awful. This isn’t, and I really appreciated the level of care Stowe takes with Tabbart in this book, especially at first. He’s patient and careful and explains everything he can long before he pushes her for harder stuff. And yet… something didn’t quite work for me in their partnership. I think it’s possibly because Stowe is very dominant and is always aiming towards the hard stuff (despite their short time together), while for me Tabbart’s submissiveness is less of a personal preference than a way to get what she wants – Stowe. In fact, throughout their relationship, even at the end, I still felt like Tabbart is only into BDSM because that’s what Stowe likes, rather than her picking it because she wants it herself. Don’t get me wrong, she’s clearly enjoying herself and Stowe never forces her into anything she doesn’t want, but it didn’t feel entirely natural to me.

Part of this is probably due to the kind of person Tabbart is at the beginning. She’s a workaholic on the edge of burnout who has never had much time for relationships.
