After hearing them on a drive thru records sampler i was conviced to by there ep(mini album). There mix of melobic ecoustic and hard core emo made it the best debut cd i own,and there album is even better. It statrs off with a brilliant ecoustic song "ever so sweet" which shows of ace (the lead singer)musical abilty. The rest of the album is mainly uptempo emo with a few slower songs. Also the song fluxy faetures kenny from the starting line which is a brilliant song. overall a excellent emo album.

EMO is short for emotional rock. This seems to translate more often than not into a dreary shoe-gazing melancholic mud-pie of a record. The Early November, however, seem to have gotten the right idea with genuine emotion dripping off of every word.
On top of the vocal perfection, the music is gutsy throughout - except in two very delicate and inspirational acoustic tracks.
Along with Something Corporate, The Early November really are the crown jewels of the Drive Thru label.

I like to compare a really good album to The Foo Fighters "The Colour and the Shape" as this was one of the greatest albums ive ever heard in terms of buying an album that didnt just have a few hit songs and some hooks, but an Album that had a distictive feel to it, that felt Coherent through out with a Start,Middle and End.
So that every song basically becomes a hit!
Anyway, this album is one of those!
(there are others out there, but make no mistake, this has to be one of them)
And if u ever get to see the Early November Live, this Album becomes ALIVE !
