Absolutely dreadful books. Not a patch on the Little People Big Dreams book.

I bought several of the series together after reading a review in a magazine but it was not clear that these books aren't story books and that they are counting or picture book. Illustrations are lovely but I am disappointed and probably won't buy any more in the series.

This book uses characters and the setting of Romeo & Juliet to teach babies to count. It isn't a baby version of the story. But the illustrations are bright and cheerful and because the words are so simple ("four roses" "ten kisses") you can choose what to say to your baby around them depending on their mood or attention. You can tell a simplified version of Romeo & Juliet or you can just elaborate on the pictures. The concept of the range makes these books great baby shower gifts.

Perfect as a gift for the children of any Tigermums! Beautiful illustrations and such a cute idea, although some of the words are way beyond the natural capability of a child just leaning to read, it's more about the charm of using a classic novel as the frame of reference. Note that this is not a baby friendly version of the novel itself, its just a few relevant words paired together to teach counting. Stick to the classic board books if you really want to encourage reading skills!

lovely simple idea, bright colours and lovely graphics, a great way to introduce some wonderful storylines in addition to numbers, colours etc. My two year old loves it am hoping to get more from the series.

The book arrived within the allotted time.
It is a gem of a book both for little people learning to count and those who are starting to do Romeo and Juliet at school.
A really fun book.

My baby daughter loves this one. Bright colours, sweet pictures, and a fun way to learn counting. It's also nice that each reader interprets the pictures / story slightly differently for her.

What a lovely board book, my son loves it and I think it's great that you can use the timeless stories of Shakespeare to illustrate a counting book.

A beautifully presented book for younger children getting them ready for Shakespeare when they are older. This is highly recommended and happily does not have quite the sad ending of the original although parting is still such sorrow.
