The great cover was just meant to lure us in. It certainly did me. This had a lot of potential to be a great story if it had not been written is such a weirdly disjointed and immature manner. I could kind of see what the author was going for, she obviously pictured the book like a film, but the way it came over on paper did not work. I don't understand the many good reviews for this book it was not at all well written. The dialogue was stilted and the characters barely two dimensional.

This was interesting and well written and I'd just gotten into the story when it ended, so I would need to buy the next three books to finish the story. The first book is part of Kindle Unlimited, but the rest are not, so I might not buy them.

Nice cover. This is all the good that I can say about this book and people always have to start with the good, don't they?
This is one of these short books that are part of a series but don't tell you that they are. The author ends this book right in the middle of a conversation so even if you survive all the rest you will be there thinking 'Now what, I read about 50 pages and am going to have to wait a few months for the next 50 pages...?'
Want to be an author? Write the full book before you publish it...
When I started reading I initially thought that from page to page the things don't make sense. There is no connection between the first 10 sentences and the ones after. At some point the heroine is feeling 'like she has fallen down the rabbit hole' and that is how the reader feels as well. Then comes the 'she is the most beautiful woman on earth' thing. Blah-blah... she meets again with an old beau and he suddenly decides to abandon his wife and 8 year old daughter who he apparently adores just for the chance to be in her bed again!
All that is followed by three brothers, two of which are miracle construction workers and (!) the oldest one is disabled, scarred and has a prosthetic leg and arm, middle one is beautiful as a god but does not talk and the youngest one is lovely but rubs the lady the wrong way...
All that does not stop our supposed internationally famous star to meet the beautiful brother for first time, not even say hello and kiss him passionately followed by later attempt to get him drunk and outright jumping his bones after she has given him a full glass of bourbon for courage...
What got me off the reading the most was the complete lack of detail.

This is immature and poorly written but as it was free I don't feel that disappointed. Quite short and obviously designed to tempt the reader into paying REAL money for the follow up books. Sadly Nothing about this would tempt me into reading any more works by this particular author.

I enjoyed the book from the start, it's a short book and although the characters are interesting I feel that their introduction is a little rushed - meaning in places you feel as if used missed something...still will be looking at getting the sequel!

I really liked this story but it ended way to soon and at a very interesting part of the book. The 3 star rating is simply because the book was to short and left me feeling a bit cheated. Hopefully the next book will be out soon.

Quirky and interesting read. Not usually my kind of book. I have now downloaded book 4. Most have knocked the way it is written, but I have to say I have fallen into the throw of reading these book and don't really notice the odd grammar mistakes etc. I think they are great. Well done and those that have knocked the books should really try writing themselves. Believe me it's not as easy as you think. Well done Kimball.
