Format: Paperback
This is a book about a boy called Threptus who is a soothsayer's apprentice. A soothsayer is a person who can tell what will happen in the future. He eats a poisoned honey cake which makes him not speak. WOE!!!!!!!

So how can he be a soothsayer?

If you buy this book you will read it seven thousand times over and over again and enjoy it every time.

I'm trying to persuade my grand daughter to read ancient Roman mysteries like I do (Lindsay Davies, Steven Saylor etc.)
