JILL MILLER is the co-founder of Tune Up Fitness Worldwide (www.tuneupfitness.com) and the creator of the corrective exercise format Yoga Tune Up(r) and the Roll Model(r) Method. Excellent self help manual for those suffering from fascia tightness. Fascial tightness can manifest itself like aching or constant fatigue. You'd need to purchase massage balls in order to use this book properly. Lacrosse or tennis balls won't work with this.

I've a number of self massage implements, but non as good as the tune up balls promoted in this book. Half way through the book I decided to buy the Treat While You Train package, and I'm so glad I did - the DVD's instructional content's excellent. There are a number of very novel approaches demonstrated, that I'd have never considered had I not watched the DVD, and the balls really are as good as the author says they are

The Roll Model is a must for anyone who has a body. Jill Miller shares her knowledge in a fun and very accessible way and the book speaks to people looking for a way to ease pain and improve health, as well as to movement professionals. Depending on what your goals are and what you are interested in, you can pick and choose which chapters to read. However, the combination of real life Roll Model stories, basic anatomy and lots of practical self massage and Roll Model/Yoga Tune Up moves is perfect for anyone looking to live better in their bodies. As a movement professional I find this book useful when prescribing "homework" to my clients, since they can refer to the illustrations and the pictures in the book when performing the moves at home.

I'm a personal trainer and pole fitness instructor. I was introduced to this awesome book by my own PT and I use the rolling techniques in it regularly. It's thanks in large part to this book that I've managed to keep my shoulders feeling fresh and mobile, despite the constant abuse they get from all the kettlebells, lifting and pole training I do! Would recommend this to anyone who wants to show a little bit more love to their body.
