Roger Keevil was born and educated in Southampton, U.K. Having moved to Spain in 2006, he devised and began to write a series of light-hearted short stories featuring his detectives, Inspector Andy Constable and Sergeant Dave Copper, eventually deciding to develop one of his stories into his first full-length novel, 'Feted to Die' (later re-titled 'Murderer's Fete'). Returning to the U.K. in 2009, he published the second Inspector Constable mystery, 'Juan Foot In The Grave' (later re-titled 'Murder Unearthed') in 2012, and in August 2013, he launched Inspector Constable's third investigation - 'Death Sails In The Sunset' - set aboard a cruise ship. He published the fourth book, three short stories under the title 'Murder Comes To Call', in 2014 and followed this in 2015 with three further short stories in 'Murder Most Frequent'. The sixth Inspector Constable novel, a full-length investigation entitled 'The Odds On Murder', appeared in January 2016, followed by 'The Murder Cabinet' in January 2017. The latest novel, 'The Game Of Murder', launched on 2nd January 2018.
Roger was delighted to be invited by the BBC to be part of the panel of sleuths on their exciting new whodunnit game show 'Armchair Detectives' in 2017.
