The reason I gave it 4 stars is that so much energy was devoted to getting to know the characters by describing their thoughts and reasons for their actions that it has slowed the pace of the book and was occasionally repetitive. The second half was definitely better than the first.
All in all, a good read.
make this book your holiday book this summer i am sure you will carry on to read it more than once as i have done.
it gives so much faith that love will find a way in the end.

I was so relieved to see this was not the case. I don't know a lot about the rodeo so I wasn't looking for the technical side of it. I look for a well written story of love and how it develops. I like some angst to spice up the journey and a little heat with out having the heat overpower the story and distract from it.
Rodeo nights was a perfect blend of past love of youth, the pain of loss, the hope for the future and the fear that gets in the way of it all. It was a symphony of emotions blending with a power story of finding what love is truly all about.
I don't often give a 5 star rating, but this one deserves it from me as I will keep this book for years to come and revisit Kalli and Walker many more times. I will keep coming back and not be disappointed.
The story revolves around a rodeo in Wyoming and the family that runs it. After a stroke, when the two children return (not related to each other, but children by love to an older couple and divorced from each other) to help run the rodeo, can they overcome the past hurts to learn to love each other again and overcome their own separate fears?
