The next time we meet Ivy, Nate and Dax they are aboard a private jet flying to Pleasure Island, Nate and Dax for a holiday and Ivy because she has won a week on the Island as long as she takes part in a charity auction to be topped by whoever bids for her. Ivy never thought she would see the two Doms again, and now here she is joining the exclusive five mile high club. Of course this is all for research for her brilliant scoop which is going to bring respect from her boss and peers and make her parents proud, so why does she feel so bad. Will Ivy become Nate and Dax’s sub, or will she choose her career. There are lots of twists and turns for Ivy before the HEA. This was a very entertaining, raunchy and hot end to the series.
Trying to get to the very centre of all that is happening she has allowed herself to be put up as a submissive and auctioned off to raise money for charity, the voting all seems to be going well and then she realises that she has actually been purchased by Dax Johnson and Nate Banks a pair of rodeo riding cowboys.
As her story begins to almost ride itself she begins to realise that this is not simply another job, she has started to get to know the others on the island, she has also started to understand the type of lifestyle these people live the love, trust and commitment involved in these relationships is what their lives are all about.
As Ivy spends more time with Dax and Nate she quickly realises that she has fallen very heavily and very quickly in love with these two very different men, they have shown her things that she never even realised about herself…..
She has herself quite the dilemma: -
If she writes this story it will mean the end of her relationship
If she doesn’t write the story but they find out she’s a reporter there under false pretences it could end all of the friendships she has made and also more importantly her guys!!!!
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.
**Soapbox moment ahead**
Frankly I despise the type of investigative "reporting" that these books use as their base. Private lives are private whether you a celebrity, politician, plumber or teacher. If your private life isn't hurting someone than it should stay private. I couldn't care less if a bull rider is bisexual or a singer and his drummer are married to the same woman. Is my towns mayor or my kids teacher into being gagged and spanked by their partner? Good for them. It's not my business and it's not anybody else's either.
***Soapbox moment over**
I love the heroes, I was happy to see the heroine finally be happy and this was a great book.
***I decided to review an ARC of this book.***
I loved reading Ivy’s turmoil as she falls more & more for Dax & Nate and as she sees the true people and lives behind the story she’s trying to write.
A fight for what’s in her heart and conscious against her career and why she wants it.
Good read, I definitely recommend it.
