I was really happy to have a story line here, and although there is a love scene or two, it adds not detracts from the overall book.
In short, Zander loved Annabelle (another one who crawls through windows) but with a music career calling with OtherWorld, he leaves her behind.
Fast forward 17 years and the stabbing of Brie brings them both together, only Annabelle has a story that comes in the shape of smart 17 year old daughter.
Terri Anne opens the book with a statement that this was the hardest of the series so far to write, and this comes through in the book. Although some parts feel like a re-hash - s***e mum, drunk men in mum's life who are way too interested in her daughter, the band dynamics, there are enough changes to make this book stand alone.
I have really enjoyed reading this series and its sad to think that the next book will be the last. Here's to an EPIC finish.

I LOVE this book!!!
I LOVE all these books from this series.
This story is about young love and how giving someone what you think they need can be so, so wrong.
For anyone who likes to read about bad boys with big hearts. Were family and band brothers are everything. With feisty women and plots that twist and turn this book is for you.
I would strongly recommend you read the rest of the series first and you wont be disappointed.

I loved this book! The story was heartbreakingly beautiful, Zander and Anna were brilliant characters. I felt emotionally exhausted by the time I'd finished reading, the whole book is packed full of deeply emotional scenes. Another excellent instalment in this brilliant series.

That was the first book by Terri Anne Browning I read so I wasn't sure what to expect. But as I love rocker romances, I was all up for checking it out. And let's just say that I would never regret picking it up because I found a new favorite author. The story is captivating and intriguing and it caught my attention from the first few pages. I simply loved the fast pace of the story. It was easy to read and at the same time so heartbreaking.

Both characters are quite interesting individuals and make for a pretty intense story. Annabelle used to be a sweet girl after one too many heartbreaks, she trusts very few people in her life. And the one person she believed would never betray her, shattered her heart into million peaces on more than one occasion. Zander had his own reasons for leaving the one one person he loves more than anything in the world behind. But that cost him the little sanity he had left. But 17 years later he finds out that he lost much more than that.

This is a story of second chances and how two people meant to be together, finally find their HEA. I loved every word of this book and I am definitely recommending it. But be prepared! You are going to shed quite a few tears. I can honestly say that I will be definitely checking the other books in the series as I was quite intrigued by the other characters and I would love to get to know them better.

The Rocker Who Betrayed Me is book #11 in The Rocker Series but the first book I have read by this author. I was lucky enough to be gifted an ARC of the book to read for Gemma Reads Too Much.

Ok so as a newbie to a series it does seem odd to start at book #11 in a series but amazingly not understanding the history of the characters didn’t affect my reading experience too much.

Now I’ve finished the book I do wish that I had read the other books in the series first but really reading 10 previous books in a series to understand the latest one seems just a tad extreme lol.

I really liked this story, both Annabelle and Zander are incredibly likable characters, even when Zander behaved like a d!ck I still felt a sense of empathy towards him and I almost wanted to give him a hug and tell him to stop being a tw@t and go get his girl.

The childish relationship that this couple had was very sweet and even thought to latter reconnection they had was good I kind of wanted them to get back together sooner. I mean seventeen years is a hell of a long time to long for your soul mate.

On Annabelle’s side I wanted her to be angrier!!! I wanted her to rage and shout and be a bit more unreasonable. I mean after all she was just a bit too nice, because let’s be honest Zander was a total d!ck to her!!

I loved that there wasn’t any unnecessary drama they didn’t split up to get back together again and I enjoyed the inevitable end to this story.

Overall this was a very sweet book that was touching and so heart-breaking in places that I’ll admit to spilling a few tears.

I really enjoyed this book and I will definitely be going back to read about the rest of the rockers in this series.

The Rocker who Betrayed Me gets 4 stars from me.
