Received the case I ordered today - nice prompt delivery. The silly thing is that the company emailed me this morning at 09:32 to say it would be delivered between 12:12 and 13:12 today (which it was) and I could re-schedule it by clicking a link, BUT if you work during the day then you are going to miss this email - seems rather inefficient for the delivery drivers to call and leave a note (which I presume they would do so you could re-schedule the delivery).

However, I was surprised to see another reviewer say the bag sizes are accurate - because they are plainly NOT. WITHOUT packing the bag or putting a laptop in the front, which I am sure would have made it expand outwards more (note I did NOT have the bag expanded) the dimensions (accurately measured with two different steel rulers) were:-
Height 52cm - NOT 51cm
Width 39.5cm - NOT 38cm
Depth 23cm - NOT 20cm
The last measurement would make this case TOO DEEP for Ryanair - BE WARNED.

However, we do not use Ryanair and the bag is fine for Easyjet.

The facilities of the bag are great - just as others have said and we are really happy with it - but the company advertising should get the sizes accurate.

I wanted a small case to take as hand luggage but big enough to fit clothes for short trips of 4 to 5 days. I looked at some Samsonite cases but eventually went for this one which is quite a bit cheaper. I was slightly apprehensive because I'd never heard of this brand before, but I'm really happy with the luggage. The quality seems good, the case is sturdy and zips etc all seem strong. It's done one trip and so far no problems. It is small enough to fit on Ryan Air hand baggage but still fits a surprising amount inside. There is a really useful front pocket which opens all the way down and ideal for my laptop. The inside has various pouches for shoes and one plastic one for toiletries. All in all, very pleased with this.

I don't usually write reviews but the customer service has been so good I felt I should. I originally purchased the 4 wheel spinner version of this case but it just fell over when full. I had already recycled the packaging and removed all the labels but Luggage Emporium were more than happy to send out this case as a replacement and pick up the spinner with no problems or charges. Absolutely fantastic and a pleasure to deal with.

Now this case is great, good quality and the expander sections make it possible to swap between RyanAir and BA flights with the varying cabin bag size limits. The front pocket is great for the laptops that need to be accessed quickly and easily. Over all a fantastic carry on case.

'Tis true that this bag is on the high end of those of similar size but it seemed at time of purchase to fit my needs. Regrettably, one of the laminated wheels de-laminated after only two uses (solid plastic wheels might be better). Admittedly, I have to pull the bag over long distances (a mile each way) on pavements but a bag I had purchased in the States at Target held up for over three years over simlar terrain and cost much less. It also leaked through the front pouch (which closes with two zippers and leaves a gap in the middle where the zippers meet). I returned it to the store on Oxford Street where I bought it and they gave me a credit towards a new, less expensive bag and refunded me the difference (they only wanted to give me a credit, at first, but after a bit of stubborn insistance they gave me cash). Now I will try a 'Homestyle' make of bag with plastic wheels. Why don't these baggage manufacturers make it easier to replace the wheels (rhetorical)? JCB - London

I bought this bag as a replacement to my Samsonite which was not very practical. This case not only matches the quality of the Samsonite one, it is infinitely more practical and much better thought out.

It has two expansion zips which means that it is acceptable by airlines such as British Airways as carry-on but can also be "shrunk" to be acceptable to the budget airlines.

The detachable clear cosmetics pouch makes aiport security checks painless and practical as does the laptop compartment which allows easy quick access without having to open the whole bag up

Overall I am delighted with this case and would thoroughly recommend it

I bought the Rock Rome case in October this year after reading good reviews on here. So far it hasn't let me down. A sturdy design with a good adjustable long handle, has good wheels & the zips are well made.Pockets are well placed(The outside one is deep & wide. I used it for my passport & other things I needed close to hand). You could easily fit a PC tablet in it or a 14/15 inch laptop Inside there are 2 sewn-in shoe bags & 1 attached clear plastic case for those "3 100ml liquid" items you are aloud to take with you. It's quite spacious for a cabin case.I got enough clothes in it for a 4 or 5 days stay & a pair of trainers.all weighed in at 9kg of the 10KG max.( so had enough to put my Tablet in. I recently used it on Air Malta flights. Had no problems getting it on board.
While in the queue at Manchester Airport's Terminal 2 I passed an Easy Jet hand luggage test frame,so tried the Rock Rome case out for size.It easily passed for length & height, but was a little tight on the depth.I don't foresee any problems as long as you don't use the expandable zips, although it will fail to pass Ryan Air's current restrictions.
Overall I highly recommend this case & will update this review every time I use it, to see how it fairs for wear & tear.
