I was so excited to get to read Rock Addiction and I have to say for the most part I did actually really enjoy Molly and Fox’s story. But I did have areas that had me feeling rather niggled.

Now I along with others like a good sex scene and oh boy does Nalini pen a great scene, my one niggle here there was a bit too many sometimes. I also didn’t fully agree with Molly’s reasonings about things, so this niggled in the background with me a lot too.

I then didn’t get why Fox did what he did later in the book, jeez if that is not the way to turn a woman off completely! So that was another niggle.

But I did get behind their relationship and I was routing for them all the way through.

This is a good rockstar romance, Fox comes out with some complete caveman attitude and his life seems almost led by his manparts, even when he meets Molly it’s his third leg doing a lot of the talking although his mind is racing off in other directions. They were a great couple to follow, I definitely want to read on in this series. And strangely enough I am DESPERATE to read Charlotte’s story too! I have been captured with the side story of her and her new boss!

I received a copy of Rock Addiction in return for an honest review, my reviews are my own and are 100% honest.

Being a fan of Nalini Sighn, there was no way, I was going to overlook this book and oh boy, am I glad I didn't.

Fox is the lead singer and guitarist of a very famous band, where each and every member had something to contribute. The band name? " Schoolboy Choir", far from it!

I was captured by this beautiful, sexy love story. Fox had a hard childhood but together with the rest of the band members, who also happened to be his school friends, managed to make a success of his life. As we all know Fame and Fortune don't always bring true love and happiness.

Molly too had a hard childhood and she learnt how to get by in life by putting up her own barriers and sticking to the strict rules, she had set for herself. She didn't trust anybody, except for her friend Charlotte and her sister Thea. These worked for her, until she made a deal, which would last for a month with Fox. Little did she know that Fox had other ideas in mind.

Fox was the typical bad boy male alpha, whereas Molly was fairly reserved and quiet compared to him.

They were both weary of each other and as they started interacting, they discovered how their pasts had affected both of their lives. When it became public that Fox and Molly were what they believed to be a one night stand, the cruelty that transpired from the media and fans were what Molly feared the most.

As they started to interact with each other, it was obvious that they each had a different side to their personality. The sex between them was very steamy but will that be enough for Fox and Molly to trust each other enough to make any other commitments and have a relationship?

I liked the concept of this story and liked the way everything developed. I am now going to dive into Rock Courtship.

I would recommend to those who like a good romance with hot sex and some adventure.

I had been reading Nalinis Psy Changeling series for the longest time and was completely unaware of this series.

Fox and his rock band are touring New Zealand and along the way Fox meets Molly. She is a librarian, has no real idea of who he is to begin with and he asks her for a one night stand. The feminist in me was screaming at this book, but you soon warm to Fox and his caveman ways.

I thought the sex scenes were unrealistic and over the top, and being called baby really annoys me no end and reading fox constantly saying it instead of her name got on my nerves but the story was a sweet one.

Zachary Fox is the singer of the band school boy choir and the hero of the book. Fox had a rough childhood, his mother abandoned him and left him with his grandparents who died later hence he has no other family than his band members and has associated the word love with those hurtful memories of his childhood. Which changes when he meets Molly.

"Her smile smashed into him with stunning force. He heard nothing of the party around him saw no one but her."

Molly is a librarian and a fan of the band. Her parents died in a car crash when she was young. Her father was an adulterer which lead to her mother becoming an alcoholic leading to Molly becoming an orphan. She and her whole family where in the limelight because of her father's behavior which has led to Molly resenting and fearing the media. She is only close with her best friend Charlotte and her sister Thea other than that Molly lives a very solitary life.

"The girt and sex of his voice made her body ache but more dangerous was the effect he had on her heart."

Molly and Fox meet at a party which leads them to having a one night stand. Molly doesn't want a relationship with Fox because his position in media would expose her old wounds while Fox from the moment he meets Molly wants to make her his but Molly doesn't anything more than one night stand for her memories. Which begins their courtship.

What I liked: I really liked the fact both Molly and Fox wanted to actually be together and were willing to work/compromise for each other. Molly and Fox are together for all the chapters in the book which is different since most books have the inevitable separation.
