I was born in Worcestershire in 1961 to a working class family and grew up with one younger brother. Well educated, studying Fine Art at Art College.
I married my childhood sweetheart in 1985 and we had our son in 1988. After nearly forty happy years together our family has now grown to include a grandson.
After finishing college I worked for a large food manufacturing company for several years before moving on to Land Rover where I worked the night shift to allow me to look after our young son.
As our son grew up, I returned to a more art orientated career and became a self-employed painter and decorator specialising in murals, based in Tamworth.
I have travelled the world on a budget, dragging my long suffering wife on my expeditions when her career would allow. We have met many interesting people and seen many awe inspiring sights, which have now become a great source of material and reference in my new career as an author.
Three years ago after my wife experienced a traumatic life changing experience which affected her health I looked for a change of career which meant I could work from home.
“How to Kill a Minority Shareholder (and get away with it)” is my first novel published – and hopefully not my last. The release date is end of June 2015. Special thanks to Book Guild Publishing for all their help in my transition to novelist.
