Rob Mimpriss is the author of three short-story collections, 'Reasoning', 'For His Warriors' and 'Prayer at the End', is the contributing editor of 'Dangerous Asylums', an anthology of fiction from Denbigh Mental Hospital by some of Wales's most prominent writers, and is the translator of prose by Owen Wynne Jones, Richard Hughes Williams, and Morgan Llwyd. His short fiction has appeared in 'New Writing', 'New Welsh Review', 'Tears in the Fence', and other magazines, has been anthologised in Arabic translation by Hala Salah Eldin, and has been short-listed for the Rhys Davies Prize. He has published criticism and reviews of Raymond Carver, Richard Ford, Robert Olmstead and others for 'New Writing', 'New Welsh Review' and elsewhere.
