the original road trip, wasn't that good to begin with. it would have been a hell of a lot more of a success, if it wasn't riding on the back of American Pie.

that was ten years ago. since then we have had numerous movies which are dedicated to high school 'shenanigans' and featuring lots of randy, half naked people. you would think that we could take no more of the: virginal girlfriend

virginal girl who is really wild

type-cast 'non American'

handsome lead

handsome leads hokey stoner/drunk friends model with European accent.

it's nor deja vu my friend. you have seen this film a dozen times before, with better scripts, set pieces, and narrative.

i knew it was going to be bad when DJ Qualls had taken over Tom Green duties in narrating the story. the story is below average, and at times, it's really painful to watch.

but if you like these sort of comedies, you will see it, and then complain....like me...

I really enjoyed the first Road Trip but had an idea before I watched this that it wouldn't live up to the original. The movie follows three college guys, who set out on a road trip to the Beer Pong finals. Obviously the premise for the movie is much the same as the first Road Trip. The guys happen to get themselves into lots of funny situations and senarios along the way, meeting new people. I don't want to give anything away but watch out for the scene on the chastity bus when Arash is driving - hilarious.

I was plesantly suprised that it wasn't as bad as I expected. It isn't as good as the first as is the case with most sequels but this one isn't far off the mark. There are some funny moments, as you would hope, but only two hilarious scenes!

I'd give special credit to actor Michael Trotter (Korkin) in this. He's the star of this film and a comedy actor to watch out for in the future.

Don't waste your time, there's nothing good about this. I'm amazed that they even allowed this film to go through, catastrophic waste of money.

Not a good movie, but not bad by teen comedy standards. Inferior to the original, but not by much.
The jokes are mostly lame, but with a few gems thrown in. The characters are likeable and typical of the genre (the pressured bloke with a girlfriend, the ladies man, the stoner).

The story follows 4 college lads trying to get to a Beer Pong competition and the male lead to meet up with an old flame. Thus follows the usual mishaps and disasters as they try to reach their goal.

The 'In the Buff' song is funny and utilised several times in the movie (in the same way 'Scotty Doesn't Know' was used in Eurotrip - Unseen [DVD] ) . But the outstanding element of the film is the character Arash (the son of a deposed dictator) who is genuinely hilarious. He made me smile every time he did or said anything, and provides virtually all the movies truly funny moments, especially the phone sex on the chastity bus.

Overall it's an enjoyable romp worthy of a evenings light entertainment.
