I bought this as a replacement strap for my Pebble watch, after the plastic one that it came with finally split. I'd looked around a few jewellers and been shocked by how much they were charging for a cheap strap, so I looked on Amazon and found this.
Whilst it looks a little 80s retro, it does go really well with that chunky Pebble watch look. When it arrived, it was a little too big for me, so I needed to remove a few links. I didn't have one of those fancy kits for it, so I just used a hammer and a small glasses repair kit flat head screw driver. Just place the screw driver in the tiny hole and whack it with a hammer. The tricky part is not hitting yourself and positioning the strap in a way that it is not lying on a work surface, and so making it counter productive to the hammering as the surface stops the pin from coming out (if that makes sense). The actual task of connecting it to the watch was also quite tricky, but with a little perseverance, you will be able to snap it in. In total, it took me about 20 minutes to do the whole thing.
It has a really good and sturdy clasp that holds it closed, and it requires a pinch to the sides of it in order for it to open, making it a lot more secure than other similar straps.
Definitely worth the price

Something to be aware of...I have very small wrists (for reference I used the 3rd from smallest slot on the LG G Watch R leather strap) and as you can see in the picture it's still a bit big even after removing the links. I will admit it looks like a final link can be removed near the clasp but I've tried everything to get it out and it won't budge at all. I'm not sure whether it's intended to be removable or not but I really tried removing it to the point where I broke the end off my removal tool it was that stuck. Again though I have very small wrists and most people should be fine with the adjustments. The size in the picture is with 4 links removed so I guess you may struggle if you have really large wrists.
You should remember that unlike the leather straps, these straps always stays linked in a circle. For the LG G Watch R charger that means I have to lift the charging dock and put the watch around it instead of laying it flat like you would with the original strap, but this doesn't take much additional effort.
Overall it seems to be a good looking, decent quality strap at a good price. It's not something I'll be passing down to my grandchildren but for less than 10 quid it's not going to be.
I purchased this watch strap to replace the leather one that came on the LG G Watch R. The strap is not very heavy at all but you can't expect it to be for a tenner and I actually prefer it lighter. It looks great and matches the watch perfectly. If someone were to hold the watch with the strap on they could quite easily tell it's a cheap strap but you really can't tell just by looking. The finish is nice and feels much better against my skin than the leather. I don't know how long the black coating will last yet but it feels like it would be pretty easily scratched if knocked often.

Decent strap for a reasonable price. Suits LG G Watch R perfectly.

Ordered this for my LG G Watch.
I have fairly small wrists so had to get some links taken out, this is my first issue. On taking the links out, on of the links came completely out, where the guy at Timpsons said 'This part should be glued in and not come out like that'. Luckily it was one of the links that I needed out - but it makes me judge the build quality.
Second issue is that due to this just being a Stainless Steel strap which is painted black, after only an hour of usage i can see marks on the strap where the black has slightly scratched off, revealing a steel under colour.
Otherwise it feels great on the wrist and looks great.

I've only just got it, so can't say if the colour will wear off quickly, but it was exactly what I wanted. As it happens the standard length is just right for me, from what I can see it is only easy to tighten by a couple of millimetres if you have a smaller wrist. I use it for a Pebble watch, it's much better looking and more solid than the silicon strap it arrived with. Naturally it is also a little heavier, but I am used to that feel and like it.

Strap itself is good enough quality, but as I sit at a desk all day working I need something with a good coat to stop from scratching. The clip after 1 day had nearly all of the black film removed from it and now looks cheap and tacky. I would expect this over a long period but not 1 day wearing it.....

The watch strap itself seemed decent quality at first glance, however after some messing around with it while struggling to attach it to my Moto360 (Which proved unfruitful) the strap just broke... it was easy enough to slot back together but it made me worry about further use and if it would just snap on my wrist. Back to fitting it to a Moto360 if anyone plans the same thing, I personally could not do it, it seems the connections on this watch strap and the ones on the 360 are simply not compatible, I plan to cut the connector slightly to make it fit but straight out of the box setting up without some fiddling is impossible. I don't want to look too critically on the strap as it is fairly cheap, however I don't think i can recommend someone this just in case it snaps off their wrist on it's first outing.
