About the Author
Brian Taylor has always had a keen interest in military history, in particular the campaigns of the ancient Romans, the Napoleonic period and the Second World War. He has previously written a two-volume history of the campaigns on the Eastern Front during the Second World War entitled Barbarossa to Berlin and a history of the Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars, The Empire of the French.
