Although I bought the first book a while ago I only recently read it. I loved the book so much that I bought the other twelve books in the series and I have read them all within in 2 weeks, I couldn't wait to find out what happened next, the humour is brilliant, to the point you laugh out loud and everyone looks at you, but the heartache is just as emotional. Never mind the love stories, friendships and not forgetting the mysteries that get solved

I'm worryingly hooked by these books, I need to know what happens next, yet this is not a particularly well written series, less so as more books are released. This book seemed more like a teaser for the next one as opposed to a book in its own right.

I always enjoy Denise's Rose Gardner books and the between the numbers novellas are usually quick , fun reads. Ripple of Secrets is certainly a quick read but this time Denise switched it up and completely threw me. Her writing is getting stronger and stronger with each book and Ripple is fabulous. Gripping and slightly darker than usual. It was interesting to have Hillary's character fleshed out more and become 3 dimensional and dare I say it it's even made me feel sympathy towards her. I'm not going to post spoilers but I'm just going to finish by saying the ending made me cry and Thirty Four can't come quick enough.

Started to read thirty four and a half predicaments and soon realized that I'd missed something as the stories didn't follow on! Must have missed when this novella came out. Interesting enjoyable read from all the different points of view. Gives some depth and background to the other characters that I suspect will be more prominent in no 7. Certainly puts Hillary's obsession into perspective! I almost feel sorry for her.

I'd like to start off by saying that this series started off brilliantly. It was fun and exciting.. but as time has gone on the main character is getting more and more irritating. She's nearly always crying, if she isn't crying she's passing out or throwing up! She's immature for her age. She runs around getting herself into trouble even though she insists she doesn't go looking for it..
She seems completely selfish to her friends and her poor dog! The amount of times she's said she feels bad about leaving muffy at home is unreal, but she continues to leave it anyway. She doesn't ask how her friends are, she just talks about herself ALL THE TIME.
How people are falling for her (mason, joe, sweeter plus people at gems) ill never know. She's a big wet blanket!!!
The author needs to learn words to replace "ornery" and a different phrase for "losing my meager dinner" both are TOTALLY over used.
I've spent so much money on this series hoping for it to get better but it hasn't. 1 star.

I just love Rose Gardner, and after the disappointment of the Curse Keepers series, it is nice to see that she still has her writing prowress when it comes to Rose. A good mini story, though I do feel that these 'optional' extras are becoming ever more important to the plot of the entire series.
