Ringo Starr has often been ignored by the music press but this album shows what a talent he is. There is not a bad song on this album and his trbute to George Harrison on the track Never Without You is particulaly moving. Not since his album Ringo in the 70s has he produced a such a strong record. To all lovers of the fab four you won't be disapointed!!!!

Although not all solo albums by former Beatles have reached the same standard as their earlier days, RingoRama is one of the best. If you like the Beatles then you will definitely love this album. The collection of songs are varied and incredibly well written. They are performed with the humour and skill we would expect of Ringo Starr. This album features an impressive number of guest artists who join Ringo to perform on one or more tracks; artists such as Willie Nelson, Eric Clapton and Timothy B. Schmitt, to name but three. As for the tracks themselves, the poignant tribute to George Harrison, Never Without You, is a beautiful and touching song about a dear friend. Elizabeth Reigns is a celebration of the Queen’s Jubilee. Each track is cleverly written, both musically and lyrically and you will want to listen again and again to be able to appreciate them fully. Finally, I defy anyone not to sing along to I Think, Therefore I Rock ‘N’ Roll!

Ringo's music hasn't had really huge success compared to Paul's, but I think that Ringo Rama completely blows Driving Rain out of the water. The tracks that stand out for me are 'Missouri Loves Company', its got a catchy tune and great lyrics. Then of course there's 'Never Without You', Ringo's tribute for George. This is one of the best songs on the album for me being a Beatles fan. And that song alone is reason enough to get the album, but you'll probably end up liking a lot of other songs. 'Imagine Me There' is another really, really great song. Its very simple Ringo type lyrics. Very beautiful song, probably the best one on the album for me. Ask Questions later is another good one, nice lyrics again.
All in all, a really great album, the best I've heard of Ringo. Its a must for anyone who likes any of Ringo's music or the Beatles.
