Amazon’s best-selling digital inflator – the fast, easy way to keep your tyres in good condition. The RAC600 can inflate a completely flat car tyre in under 3.5 minutes. It has an air flow rate of 25L/min, with a screw-stem connector for quick and secure attaching.
Power directly from your 12V socket – with a long cable that makes it easy to reach all tyres round the vehicle. The built-in LED light makes it safer and easier to inflate at night – and has an SOS mode to attract attention. Comes with a case, two adaptors and instructions.
To operate the inflator:
Plug the cigarette lighter into the 12v socket.
Tightly screw the valve connector clockwise onto the tyre valve stem
Hold + or – for more than 5 seconds until LCD display flashes. The figure that first appears is the default value (30psi). To change this, press the + or – to the required pressure setting and wait 2-3 seconds. The LCD will display the current pressure value for the item to be inflated.
Press the M button and the LCD will display “ON” to indicate that the compressor is ready to start working.
Push ON/OFF to start. When the set pressure is reached, the inflator will automatically switch off.
The ON/OFF button can be used to override the preset pressure value if required.
2x ball adaptors

Inflating your tyres will save you money
Ensuring your tyres are at the correct pressure will optimise your vehicles efficiency and reduce your fuel costs.
Tyres are the only point of contact your vehicle has with the road. Correctly inflated tyres give maximum road handling for safe journeys. Correctly inflated tyres also reduce the wear on tyres, so prolonging their life and saving you additional monies.

KEY FEATURES AND BENEFITS
Automatic Digital Gauge
The automatic digital gauge is easier to read than an analogue version. The automatic function allows you to store tyre pressures. Switch the compressor on and when the correct pressure is reached the unit will switch itself off meaning you don't have to remember the right pressure.
Long Power Cable
The power cable, which plugs directly into your 12v DC socket (cigarette lighter socket) stretched to its full length, is 3.3 metres. This extra long cable makes moving around your vehicle, to check and adjust your tyre pressure, a quick and easy task.
The compressor has a white light to help you find your tyre valve at night as well as a red light to alert other drivers should you have to inflate your tyre on the roadside at night.

Overall a good purchase and at a very reasonable price for a product i can see being useful indefinitely.
I read a few reviews of tyre inflators and the general consensus was that the Ring model was the one to buy.
After its delivery I can now say that I'm really delighted by it's quality and performance. Car tyres (37 psi) and caravan tyres (54 psi) are now a inflated very simply and from a small convenient unit in a neat carrying case. Its easy to use, its quiet and frankly its the one to buy! Great product
This inflator seems to be well built, strurdy and easy to use. One advantage that became apparent when I first used it was that you can set the pressure and leave it running whilst you go and do something else nearby and not have to stand watching the gauge to stop the inflator at the correct pressure, as it is automatic and stops itself when the correct pressure is reached.
As someone stated earlier, it is a little tight getting the cable back into its storage hole in the rear of the inflator. I have managed to keep my cool and put it back exerytime so far.
Well worth a try.
I'm a careful reader of instructions, so I took my time to make sure that I understood the procedure.
On the manual setting, all was fine, and although it's a noisy little beast, it does a great job of inflating the tyres.
However, when I used the automatic setting, it misbehaved and over-inflated the tyres.
I returned it as faulty (no problem - perfect service) and received the pristine replacement.
I carefully followed the instruction step-by-step. Inflated the front tyres to 32psi on automatic, and everything looked hunky dory.
Popped in to my local friendly tyre fitters as I was passing and asked them just for safety's sake to check the pressure.
Wow - 50 psi!
So, based on my experiences: great tyre inflator, but if you get one from the same manufacturing batch as mine, buy yourself a cheap little manual pressure gauge and use the Ring on the manual setting.

Works great for me. Not as quick as the digital machines in garages but then again doesn't cost 20p or 50p a go. Seems pretty well made and the torch is a nice touch. For £19. Read morePublished 3 days ago by AJPedder
Item stopped working properly after a few months of intermittent use (kept blowing the car's fuses - tested on different cars). Very poor for the price, compared to alternatives.Published 3 days ago by M Bal
