There are chromatic abberations in some parts of the images, especially when it is against bright backgrounds. Nothing Photoshop or Affinity Photo can't fix.
The camera works directly with the Google StreetView app for immediate uploads to StreetView, and video output once transcoded by the app has the relevant metadata inserted to upload to YouTube in 360 mode, though if you're editing footage in a separate application you'll need to re-add the metadata afterwards using google's own tool.
Photo quality is 'reasonably good' for StreetView - there's some loss of focus in parts, but it's probably still better than most user-contributed pictures to Google Maps.
Video quality it has to be admitted won't get you any major commissions - although it's HD resolution in the camera, remember that when it then goes through the 360 processing the actual field of view to the watcher is much less than that; but yerknow, it's a single unit entry level camera - if you want high resolution 360 video your next option up is a constellation of six GoPros in a frame and the faff of having to stitch them all together afterwards, and uploading in 4K. You probably want to get the feel of the format before splashing that kind of cash.
In all I'd say this is an excellent gateway camera for anybody interested in experimenting with the 360 world - get in now before everybody's got one.

Excellent for stills and given it's price, quite good for stills. Form factor and ergonomics are good, very easy to use. Read morePublished 3 months ago by RonnieMac
This is ok bit of kit with some big limitations. It produces fun images but lacks any real detail in quality. Read morePublished 3 months ago by Mr. J. R. Goodby
