Richard Dodd's first published book was 'Fluffy Hugs' which is a chapter book aimed at 5-9 year olds. It is a traditional story of magic and family at Christmas. There are currently four in the series and Richard has plans for future Fluffy books as well as other animals within Fluffy's world.
His next book is a superhero story, a young girl discovers the beginnings of certain 'abilities' and is forced to make some tough choices on whether to use them and how to use them if she chooses to. 'Ultra Girl' will be flying into bookstores in 2019.
Coming in 2020 is the exciting release - 'Peter of Neverland'. Richard's adaptation of the classic much-loved Peter and Wendy by Sir Barrie. Told from Tinker Bell's perspective, Peter of Neverland promises to continue and expand on the magic from the original book.
Richard is currently working as a Literacy school teacher in Kent. His favourite authors include Charles Dickens, Roald Dahl, Enid Blyton and JK Rowling.
