Professional Quality: Doggone Good is a small company well known to professional dog trainers for making carefully designed and durable training bags. The Rapid Rewards bag is a very well-made and versatile dog training bag that you will love for years! Easy Open / Close Magnetic Opening!: The Rapid Rewards Bag has a magnetic closure with cord-pull for quick open/close operation.;Roomy Main Compartment: Ergonomically shaped with gray interior lining for better visibility of treats. It easily accommodates 3 Cups of treats. A tennis ball would also fit with plenty of room for treats. Divider Panel: The Rapid Rewards Training Pouch main pocket has an inside divider panel with Velcro closure to store different treats or any item.;Wear with Belt (included) or with Clip: The Rapid Rewards Bag Attaches to a belt or waistband with the Doggone Good custom-made molded belt clip that is beefy and has a strong positive grip (unlike most belt clips found on gear). It also has belt loops to attach to a waist belt.;Details: 5.75 Wide, 6.75 High and 2.75 Deep (when open). Low profile design when closed. Made of durable 600 denier polyester (backpack) material. Machine washable (line dry).;Side and Front Pockets: Two small side pockets with a waste-bag dispenser feature (one side only). Small pockets can fit clickers, whistles, poop bags, etc. D-ring attachments on the small side pockets allow you attach gear with carabineers, etc. There is also a roomy front pocket with Velcro closure. The front pocket is large enough to store a small leash or a handful of treats. Zippered Back Compartment for Your Phone!: Roomy enough for cell phones, keys, credit cards and more. Here at Pet Expertise, this is our favorite feature (along with the divider panel)!

Unfortunately this treat bag does not meet those basic requirements. The main treat compartment is very deep, so it’s tricky reaching the last few treats and you lose time. I have averaged sized hands and getting my hand to the bottom of the main compartment is a bit of a tight push. The 'jackpot' pocket is laughably inadequate! It’s a flat pocket rather than a compartment, is so tight that any soft treats get mashed and the tightness makes it nigh impossible to quickly grab a treat. Added to which, the jackpot compartment has a velcro closure, further impeding quick and timely treat retrieval for accurate training. While I’m sure you can wash the whole bag in the washing machine, this is not something you’d want to do every day after a training session. The interior of the treat compartments are just ordinary nylon canvas, so porous and textured, which means they get coated in treat debris. Wiping them clean isn’t enough.
There is another velcroed pocket on the front of the bag and this is, again, very tight - you can get one or two poo bags in there. The zippered pocket on the rear of the bag is also tight, you can slip a slim and small smart phone in there but then it pushes into the space of the jackpot compartment, making it even smaller!
The bag gets a few stars for quality of materials and hardy construction. If you’re looking for a bag to carry a single type of dry treats for casual rewarding scenarios, then this bag will suit you and probably last a long time. But, on the whole, this is pretty useless as a training treat bag where timing of treat delivery and the ability to quickly retrieve different types of treats is critical.
The best thing about this kind of bag is the speed at which it enables you to reward your dog. For training to be effective, you have to be quick to mark the desired behaviour and reward it - and I was struggling with multiple types of reward (high-value meaty treats, cheese etc and standard kibble) in different pockets in different bags. All a bit of a faff when you're also trying to keep hold of a lead and perhaps even control an excitable pup! But this bag pops open easily so you can grab a treat quickly. It has two main sections so you can divide up your types of treat. And it's easy to clean if it gets smelly!
